My brother-in-law stayed at Buena Vida Nursing and Rehab - San Antonio for 45 days. The staff members were a two, but the nursing staff was a four. He didn't eat the food much there and that was not because of the taste; it was just him. The reception staff was just very poor. There were some miscommunications, but the business staff was good. His room was adequate. It was a two-bedroom, but he was missing some of his items and some of his clothes came up missing, which isn't uncommon in that environment. They had limited grounds.

I would not recommend this facitlity TO ANYONE if You Do care about your loved one.... Some of the staff do NOT treat the residents with Respect and Dignity that they deserve.. I have seen this personally and some residents even have appear Abused!!! Look for better care for your loved one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
