My brother is currently in Spring Branch Transitional Care Center. It's probably one of the better places that has taken some time to meet with me and sit with me. They let me know what I can provide, what they can offer, and what they can do. It's an older place but they have plenty of staff. They are well-staffed and have plenty of doctors. Several doctors are there 24 hours a day. They have eight dining areas. They've got patios and common areas. They have a lot of people there and they have to furnish their own TV but they have plenty of coverage, libraries, and all that stuff. The building overall is an older unit but they maintained it pretty well and it's pretty nice.

My grandmother was at Spring Branch Transitional Care Center for almost two months. It's pretty secure as far as anybody being able to get in or get out. It's not the cleanest place, but it was really the only place that we could get her in. The staff was nice. Her room looked like a hospital room. It was a full room and it had two beds. She didn't tell me that they did anything. They pretty much just watched TV and they had like three smoke breaks where they could go outside and sit outside and that was about it. They didn't have a courtyard.
