My mother-in-law is in Emory Ridge. So far, it's been very good. It's very pretty there, and they're updating it now. They've put in a new carpet and they're putting in some new stuff. They have good staff. Her room is large, nice, and well-made. They have a courtyard.

I went to Emory Ridge. I liked the facility itself. I liked the setup. I liked the rooms. There were lots of cabinet space, which seems like an important issue. That would be my main takeaway. The layout was perfect. Like most memory care facilities, it's a big circle, where if my mother got to the point where she wanted to wander, she could. They have a very nice little garden area in the middle of the circle outside and I liked that. The staff seemed very friendly and very personable, but I didn't see a large amount of staff. While there weren't any cleanliness issues or anything like that, the staff-to-resident ratio was a bit of a concern. The facilities were really clean and well-maintained.

My sister-in-law has moved into Emory Ridge. She is doing very well. It's only 15 minutes from my house. The people there are very pleasant. The rooms are very pleasant. It's not a great big facility, so that is nice. It's very close to a hospital and it's convenient to get there. The staff members are nice. I am very impressed with them. They advised me to wait about a week to visit her because they want her to settle in. She seems to be progressing quite quickly. They have tablecloths on all the tables in the dining room. I was there at lunchtime when I was bringing her things there. They had a lot of pleasant music playing like Elvis, and everybody looked pretty happy. The rooms are very nice and clean. It's very safe and secure for people that wander. The grounds are level and easy to get around. The floors are clean. They have these patios so that residents can go outside and get fresh air. There are rocking chairs and benches. It's very pretty and it's landscaped nicely.

I thought it was very nice and very attractive. The staff seemed wonderful and caring. I was really pleased with it and would be one that I would consider. The rooms were not huge, but they were nice, and I thought they were adequate.
