"I toured Thrive at Brow Wood. The staff was helpful. She took us on a tour and told us the different things that they do. They have a Wii and my brother used to bowl. They had a Wii with a bowling app so that he could sit in his wheelchair and act like he was bowling. The facilities were great. The layout was good. They had a lady there who helped them paint and showed them how to paint pictures. The activities director was nice. While we were there, we got to watch him. They were dancing. They were doing karaoke. That was delightful."

"Dalton Square was very nice. The people were very nice and friendly. The facility seemed to be very comfortable. Everybody I talked to there liked it. The staff was extremely nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. The rooms were nice, clean, and fairly well laid out. The dining area was fine. When we were there, the atmosphere was pretty quiet. The people were sitting around and outside. They have single rooms and double rooms."

"When it became time to move my Mother from out of state to be closer to me in Chattanooga, I toured numerous assisted living facilities around the area. When I walked into the Morning Pointe of Hixson, I knew it was the one. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the décor to the management team. Due to my Mother’s numerous health issues, she needs additional help with eating, dressing and bathing and we have been extremely satisfied with the level and quality of caring service she receives from the caregivers. The management continues to exceed our expectations with the activities and special events they provide for the residents. Morning Pointe is truly a friendly and caring community where both she and I enjoy. "

"My mom is going to Bailey Manor - Chattanooga/Hixson. It's brand new, so everything is just beautiful. The staff is very compassionate. The food is wonderful. The ratio of staff to residents is going to be phenomenal because it's just a 33-bed facility. Right now, I think they're at about half capacity. It has a salon in it, and they're going to have a podiatrist come in. From the moment I walked in the door, everything about them I liked. The staff members are wonderful, very welcoming, very informative, and very compassionate. I watched their interaction with other residents there. I just liked everything I saw. I was there while they were serving the food and it smelled and looked wonderful. The dining area is beautiful, spacious, very homey feel and not a clinical kind of feel. "

"My mother has Alzheimer's disease and she has lived at Martin Boyd Christian Home for a year. I knew someone whose mother was there and he told me it was wonderful. I took her and went for a visit there. When I walked in, I knew the Lord had led us there. Martin Boyd is decorated beautifully, it is clean and the staff is wonderful and friendly. The meals they serve are very good. I have eaten there with her several times. I visit her almost everyday and I am so thankful to the Lord that my mother is in a Christian home where I can have peace of mind and I know she is being well taken care of. I would recommend it to anyone. "

"The name of the facility is Rosewood. We chose it for my mother because it is close to home. The staff is all very nice and very positive. There's different sized rooms for different needs. They all look quite comfortable. The dining area is very nice, and the staff is very helpful. They have lots of activities like bingo and member's night. It is a family night where all the people have their family come in, and they do a dinner. They do a lot of shopping trips and go to lunch or dinner at different places. There are several things on the calendar every day. It is a very nice and well-kept place. The staff and everyone there are very positive. It is a very nice facility. "

"The Canopy at Boynton Ridge was a very nice place. They were very nice, and I was impressed with them. It seemed to be clean and neat. They seemed to be caring. The patients seemed to be involved and happy. The rooms were very nice, very clean, and nice size. I went into the dining area, and it looked good. The food looked good that day. Everybody seemed to be eating."

"We visited Legacy Village of Cleveland, which was a very premier facility. We wanted it, but it was out of our budget. I liked the architecture, the layout of the rooms, and the food. The food was excellent. We ate lunch there. The food was very pleasing to the eye and looked like a good variety. The facility was spacious. It is near restaurants, near the interstate, easy to get to, and it is near my home."

"My brother will be moving into Orchard Ridge Residences. They have a separate building for dementia patients (for memory care). Both buildings are in the same place, but one is in the back, and they have more security and stuff. I talked to one staff member, and she was very nice. They have different levels of activities according to their skills. There's a salon there, too."
