Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford was very nice. They offered more help than what my mother needed. The people all seemed to be very nice though. The room was a studio, and it was quite adequate for what my mother needed. The place was upkept very well and very nice. They have a beauty salon/barbershop, a dining room and meals. Plus, they have 24-hour care.

Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford was a nice environment. Nice people, and a nice building. Everything was nice. The director and all the other people were very nice. It was like a new building. It's well-maintained and clean. It's a very nice facility. The staff who gave the tour was great. She was very nice. I would recommend the place to anyone. They offer nursing care and meals. Everything is included. I met a lot of the residents, and they were all nice, happy, and well taken care of.

Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford was beautiful. Everybody was just super nice. The downfall for us was that the rooms were small and very expensive, but they had top-rated amenities. The staff who assisted us with the tour was very friendly and informative. She even followed up with me to know if I had additional questions.

Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford is on the top of our list. I liked everything. Compared to everything else, it was like a Cadillac compared to a Ford or Chevy. It's all very good. I would describe Morning Pointe as a resort hotel. Well, some of the other places had somewhat similar things, but they had the best. They had a little place for doing rehab or exercise. Everything was better there. The cafeteria was better. It's all very, very new. Some of the things I like about it were the halls were very wide, there was a lot of light, everything was extremely clean, everything was new, they had a very large dining room, and I just love the courtyards. They have very nice, large courtyards, and they have screened-in porches with rocking chairs. We got to meet their activities director. She was great. They had a great place to do the sit-down exercises. Everything was wonderful. All the residents were very positive about being there. They really enjoyed it. We did not try their food; we just looked at it and talked with some of the residents. I looked at their menu. We were very pleased with one of the things they did for their veterans: they had a wall for them. They had a special service at one point for the thirteen military people who were killed in Afghanistan, which I thought was great. So it was just top notch.

I was impressed with Morning Pointe. They had a new building. They were very helpful with information, suggestions and they try to work with us. The rooms were medium-sized and there are lots of activities for the residents. It was a large facility, but the administrative people knew the residents by name. The dining was fine dining, plus a little bistro area, so there were choices of what they could do as far as dining. Snacks and beverages were available 24/7. There were many porches and outdoor type areas. It was very nice.

Morning Pointe of Chattanooga is a very nice place, although very expensive as well. The staff was really nice and friendly during my visit. The apartments that I looked at were nice. They were doing a balloon toss while we were there.

Morning Pointe of Chattanooga is a beautiful place but it’s just very expensive for what it is. It’s very clean and looks real pretty.

Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford exceeded our expectations. It was five-star and superior in every way compared to the other places that we had seen. The general attitude and behavior of all the staff was very professional and also friendly. All the amenities were superior, including the food and the dining area. If you have the money, go to Morning Pointe. That would be my recommendation.

Everything at Morning Pointe was very impressive. It was a fairly new facility, and so everything looked very clean and able to meet the needs of my parents. The food was great, and the dining facility was also wonderful. They have game time, walking, exercise classes, dance; all kinds of things. I was probably most impressed with the staff -- very friendly, professional.

I had a relative in the Assisted Living part of this facility and things were mostly ok, except for the graduated costs for additional care. If I identified a problem, there were additional charges for a solution. The levels of care and additional fees were a constant in my meetings with the nursing director. When my relative moved to the Memory Care (Alzheimer's and Dementia Care) the second shift staff was in a constant state of turnover. I visited my relative in the late evening and found clothing and bedding had not been changed and the situation was reprehensible; the two staff members reported they didn't have the ability to clean my relative. We moved my relative to a different facility: the new facility had long term staff and a flat rate for whatever care was needed. I cannot recommend Morning Pointe's memory care facility at all.

We chose Morning Pointe at Shallowford because it was newer and cleaner. I like the layout of the room. Some of the others I looked at have the bathroom off of the living room rather than off of the bedroom, and that was just too much work for my mom to handle. That was the one of the main issues. The staff so far has been excellent. If anything happened, they would call me. Even if she gets a scratch, they call me, and tell you, "Well, we put a band-aid on it." However, I don't think my mom is participating in that many activities. She is one of the older people because she is 96, but she does do the bingo, and of course, there are the three meals a day, but I'm not sure what else she's doing.

My mom came from Morning Pointe. It was a very nice and pretty facility. You had to be healthy enough to be able to move around, and when you were not, you would need to find somewhere else to live. The nurses especially were very attentive. In her two years, in my opinion, the only down fall was the staff was not helpful to the end, which was disappointing. However, the rooms were very nice. There was no problem there. It was also very clean.
