"My aunt recently moved into St. Barnabas. She lives in an efficiency apartment with her own bathroom, a small kitchen, and a bedroom/living room area. She was able to bring in her own furniture and decorate her unit as she liked which she appreciated and made her happy to have a personalized space. She was also able to bring her cat to live with her, which was very nice. Every time I have gone to visit, the staff has been very positive. They have a large bulletin board with pictures of their residence and a calendar of activities. For each day, there is at least four things they can choose from. They offer everything from movies and bingo to trips to Wal-Mart. There is one employee in particular, Marie, who I have been so thankful for. She is always very prompt, and you can tell that she genuinely cares about the people living there. The facility also is always clean and well kept. "

"I've had many relatives at Red Bank Life Care. My mother, brother. cousin, nephew and friends. I could not have ask for better treatment from the nurses, cna's all the way down to the kitchen and staff. Everyone was always Johnny on the spot to help. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone."

"I have put my parents at Consulate Health Care. I thought the staff to patient ratio was good. The location is good for me. They have a critical wound nurse which I had to have for my mom. The room is big enough for my parents. "

"Alexian Village Of Tennessee is the best one I've seen. I have friends who live there. I've been to their independent living dinner a couple of times and I've toured the assisted living. I like the professional treatment of everyone, collegial but professional. Nobody called me honey, deary, or sweetie for once, and they had very good food. It was as good as you get in some restaurants in Chattanooga. The facility is lovely. Some of the units have great views. It's clean and well-appointed. It has lots of high ceilings. It's much less institutional-looking than most of the places. It almost looks like a resort. They have an activity director, they have a jazz night, they have ice cream, and they go on shopping trips twice a week. It's where I'll end up going when I need to go to one myself because they offer a lot of activities. It's expensive. It's almost double the price of most places in the area. It's for more refined taste and that's where all our friends go. If you have money, that's where you go in Chattanooga. It's the best of the ones available. People have to buy their units there unless they're moving into assisted living. You get part of it back depending on how long you've lived there. They always refurbish it before people move in and you get to choose your colors and your flooring and it's quite lovely. My friend is really happy. She's just been there for about four months now and she's had no trouble whatsoever with anybody, and she has loved being able to choose her own paint color and everything being done to her taste. It had two pools, one heated and one not."

"Mom is 92, she fell and injured her shoulder. She needs physical therapy…Who can we trust with her? She is precious and deserves the best! Who? Where? Trust me, we did some praying. We were led to Life Care Center of Hixson. Wonderful, compassionate, dedicated professionals…around the clock. Mom, my sisters and I are treated like royalty. I would say family but they far exceeded that. After 70 + days Mom is back on her walker…How about that?! Praise God! She is coming home in a few days! Don’t hesitate to use this facility. Your loved one will be in capable hands. "

"I liked Life Care Center. They had a very good and responsible staff and had everything necessary for senior citizens to adapt to a life away from home. They had an ice cream shop, barber shop, and all sorts of facilities for physical therapy and doctors. It’s not too big or too small and is a very well-organized system for move her up in. The environment is very calm and most of all, the physical therapist was very good with the patients. "

"Mountain View station has top notch nurses, best CNA's, and housekeeping is very efficient and pleasant"

"My aunt was in Dade Health and Rehab. I didn't like it, and it wasn't clean enough. It didn't seem to me that she had the care she really needed. They changed diapers on their own schedule. It's so many hours, and if the diaper is soiled, she just laid in it until it's scheduled to be changed. They brought the food to her room."

"The Rooms are old and Run Down Needs new Flooring and the Bathrooms are even worse. They do not clean well me and Mom have asked for a broom before to clean up her room. The staff is good and Bad we have had CNA or two that are very sweet and loving toward my aunt and we have had some that don't need to be working with those kinds of patients. And it seems the Nurses expect the CNA to do everything so a lot of hygiene is neglected and the Family is Left out unless you visit all the time and check for yourself is what we do. And the meetings are a joke that you have with the care team. Nothing you ask them to do gets followed thru with. And does not usually get done. I wish no one had to go to these kinds of homes they are short-handed and the people they hire do not care they just do what they can get by with and that is it. I could say a whole lot more Negative than I can Positive. If you don't have to use this place I would not. We have not seen out love one since March and every time you call you to get the same answer she is fine she is in Bed and we have asked them to please get her up and ready for the day as long as she is able she does not need to lay in the bed. I could say a lot more that has happened but I don't think this will do any good."

"Thank you so much to both the team of nurses as well as the physical and occupational therapy staff! My mother-in-law is frail and needed more intense physical therapy than home healthcare could provide. This team had her feeling better than my wife and I have witnessed for several years! We found several of the nurses aides to be remarkably kind! Thank you again we feel blessed to have found you!"

"My mom is the third family member we have had in Quinton Memorial, and we have loved it every time. They always take great care to call us with changes to her health or health plan. They have multiple meetings as to ensure everything is up to the expectations of family members. Mom has dementia, so at times she is difficult. For example, when she refused to wear her false teeth, the staff saw to it that she was able to eat all she wanted by grinding up her food to small pieces and providing extra water and fluids to aid in digestion. When dad was dying, they would sit by his bed and feed him when we were not there. They even cried with us when he crossed over. My grandfather was especially difficult, but they always treated him with great respect even though they did not get it. He was rude and tried to push them and slap at them. They never let on any emotion but compassion. "

"My brother is in the same place that my mother was at Quinton Memorial and I knew they really took good care of my mom so that's why I felt good in placing him there. They are very accommodating. The food is very good and my brother seems to enjoy it. They have different activities like board games and they also have church services. They have exercise classes. This facility is very highly recommended and I have recommended other people to this facility. "

"I had knee replacement on the 15th. This was the 4 th surgery on my right knee and the 2nd one in 4 months. I was not comfortable going home. I went to Regency for 6 days. I had great care while I was there. Zack my weekend therapist really got me moving. The food was not like I cook at home but I didn't go hungry. I'm sure it's hard to cook for 100 people. I love my coffee and twice daily the made fresh folgers in the cafe. The staff made sure I got my coffee. Everyone was very perfessional. If you need care give them a try. God bless. And it's nice to have staff to pray for you."
