The Rooms are old and Run Down Needs new Flooring and the Bathrooms are even worse. They do not clean well me and Mom have asked for a broom before to clean up her room. The staff is good and Bad we have had CNA or two that are very sweet and loving toward my aunt and we have had some that don't need to be working with those kinds of patients. And it seems the Nurses expect the CNA to do everything so a lot of hygiene is neglected and the Family is Left out unless you visit all the time and check for yourself is what we do. And the meetings are a joke that you have with the care team. Nothing you ask them to do gets followed thru with. And does not usually get done. I wish no one had to go to these kinds of homes they are short-handed and the people they hire do not care they just do what they can get by with and that is it. I could say a whole lot more Negative than I can Positive. If you don't have to use this place I would not. We have not seen out love one since March and every time you call you to get the same answer she is fine she is in Bed and we have asked them to please get her up and ready for the day as long as she is able she does not need to lay in the bed. I could say a lot more that has happened but I don't think this will do any good.

My friend stayed at Pruitthealth - Lafayette. It's really a hard place, and it was paid for by Medicare. There were staff that didn't care, and there were others that were extremely kind and understanding. I told them that there were programs available for veterans and they knew about that, but they didn't care because they knew that that was lost revenue for them. The people there were getting subcare. There were three men in his room that is like the size of my bedroom. His room per person was almost $7000 a month, so they're getting $21,000 in one room a month, and they had the audacity to ask us for a donation that they said they will pass on to their employees. Some of the staff were very sweet and understanding, passionate and care about the patients and their families. There are others who are just rude, don't care, and let people walk around in urine soaked clothes. The food was not balanced and with as much money as they're getting, they should have better options. They never gave them a snack. The place was dirty, and I called housekeeping myself to clean the room, and I have picked up full bags of trash myself. Six men share a tiny bathroom, and there would be a puddle of urine in the doorway. The bathroom was just a little bit wider than a wheelchair, and it's very old.
