"Mom is 92, she fell and injured her shoulder. She needs physical therapy…Who can we trust with her? She is precious and deserves the best! Who? Where? Trust me, we did some praying. We were led to Life Care Center of Hixson. Wonderful, compassionate, dedicated professionals…around the clock. Mom, my sisters and I are treated like royalty. I would say family but they far exceeded that. After 70 + days Mom is back on her walker…How about that?! Praise God! She is coming home in a few days! Don’t hesitate to use this facility. "NHC Health Care is a small, family like environment. The food is very good. They have Bible study, movies, and trips, and that is about it. We picked this one because of the location. It is close to family members. So far, it has been very good. I have nothing negative to say about them. They have a wonderful staff that is willing to help you in any way they can. "

"I was visiting the facility, because my great aunt was beginning her stay there. I had heard some horror stories about what can happen at assisted living facilities, so I was a little skeptical. However, when I saw the facility, the staff, and the residents, I was very surprised. At first glance you could tell the facility was clean and well taken care of. Then you could tell all the patients were as happy as could be. The staff was friendly and you could tell they had experience in this field. The facility was a fairly large size, and my great aunt liked to roam around a lot, so I knew she would never get bored here. All-in-all I would surely recommend this facility to anyone needing a place for their elderly family members, and give it five stars. "

"LifeCare is close to my home, my church and all my friends, and that's pretty much why I chose it. It's very clean and very nice too. The staff is excellent. Their food is also excellent. I ate there with my daughter. I have a sitting room, a bedroom, a shower, and a bathroom. In the living area across from where I sit in the chair, there is a little refrigerator and a stove. "

"My aunt recently moved into St. Barnabas. She lives in an efficiency apartment with her own bathroom, a small kitchen, and a bedroom/living room area. She was able to bring in her own furniture and decorate her unit as she liked which she appreciated and made her happy to have a personalized space. She was also able to bring her cat to live with her, which was very nice. Every time I have gone to visit, the staff has been very positive. They have a large bulletin board with pictures of their residence and a calendar of activities. For each day, there is at least four things they can choose from. They offer everything from movies and bingo to trips to Wal-Mart. There is one employee in particular, Marie, who I have been so thankful for. She is always very prompt, and you can tell that she genuinely cares about the people living there. The facility also is always clean and well kept. "

"My husband moved to Laurelbrook Nursing Home. The community is great. It's right by the mountain, so it's beautiful. It's right next to the academy. So it's a little community. The staff was very kind, considerate, and helpful. I personally have not tried the food, but he seems to be eating very well. The building was clean, quiet, and well laid out."

I could not have ask for better treatment from the nurses, cna's all the way down to the kitchen and staff. Everyone was always Johnny on the spot to help.
