"We got my grandmother settled in. So far, it’s good. She’s actually in their memory care facility, not within the assisted living, but it’s very homey and very quiet. They have a lot of different daily activities. I have not tried the food, but I know that she’s eating well. They’re very interested in the residents’ well being, very concerned, very caring, and very patient. "

"When I arrived at Regency House, they had a desk to the right, and I asked for somebody to speak to, and their staff came while I was there. The facility had a flood, and it was under construction. They had moved half the residents to the other half. I don't know how they did that, but they had to move and shuffle people around. That's not their fault, but they're going to have to do something major to prevent it from flooding again. It was in our price range, so we were able to afford it, but there were no rooms available. So, we got on the waiting list, and they said it would be six months, probably before there would be any openings. The lady was nice. The people in the facility were a huge range of different types of people. They seem more dementia patients. I talked to a few of them while we were waiting. I would say that if that was my only choice, I might have put my dad there and his room would have been on the second floor, but I had another choice. The facility was clean, and it looked nice, but it wasn't upscale, like the other place I visited, which wouldn't matter to me, but it could matter to other people. People were in their rooms. The contractors were there making a lot of racket. They had a few people sitting in the dining room, and everybody else was in their room. The staff were very kind and very nice. I don't think it's a good idea to make a two-story house into an assisted living house. They put in the elevator, but I do think the stairs are a little dangerous for older people who don't have dementia and might use the stairs even if you tell them every day not to."

"I went here. They had a circular floor plan with a courtyard in the middle. Some of the room configurations were weird. We looked at a one-bedroom, which had a separate living space. The separate living room area was very small and it didn't have a window by where it was placed, so it seemed very dark. That's the only one we saw that was like that. The others weren't like that. We looked at both studios and one-bedrooms. Mom ran into a friend of hers and we ended up sitting in that lady's apartment talking for a long time after the tour. Nothing stood out in particular and Mom wasn't as drawn to here as she was to the other place and so I just sort of dismissed it in my mind. The staff was very nice. They had some kind of activity that we watched for a minute that was kind of fun. They had lined up the seniors across from each other in chairs. They were sword fighting with plastic pool noodles swinging them around in the air."

"Everybody at Wellington Place was really nice. The lady that we talked to was very informative of everything. It was clean and well kept. However, price wise, it was just too expensive for what we were looking for. The rooms we saw didn't have a kitchen. They had a lot of things for the residents to do. "

"I toured Ridge Manor Rossville. It looked very nice. They had done a lot of updating and remodeling, and the inside looked nice, too. The neighborhood leaves a lot to be desired, but the entrance itself looked fine. It's just that somewhere in the neighborhood, there's a trailer park next door that's a little bit rundown. The facility looked fine, very clean, and updated. The staff was very nice. I met with a young man and a lady there, too. They showed us some rooms and they talked about different options. They gave us different financial options."

"I have never heard a harsh word from the staff toward my husband or any of the other members of the community. I think that is amazing because there is so much for them to be on top of. The rooms are nice and roomy. My experience is that they are kept up pretty well. Each resident has different challenges and so far the staff has met my husband's special challenges pretty well. The food is very good and there are lots of treats and activities throughout the day for their enjoyment."

"I visited Wellington Place which is also part of Brookdale, but he couldn't be in here because he needed to be in memory care. It is nice, so I liked it. It has been a while since I looked at it, and I looked over at another facility too. This is less expensive than that other facility, and I just really like the people here. "

"My aunt is in Pleasant Valley Personal Care. She has 24/7 care and they prepare all her meals, help her with her daily routine and everything. They give her her medicine and make sure she's OK. They're very helpful, very friendly, they're always there to check on her all the time. It's very clean there. They don't have any activities going on right now because of COVID. So far, she's been very pleased with the meals."

"I toured Thrive at Brow Wood. The staff was helpful. She took us on a tour and told us the different things that they do. They have a Wii and my brother used to bowl. They had a Wii with a bowling app so that he could sit in his wheelchair and act like he was bowling. The facilities were great. The layout was good. They had a lady there who helped them paint and showed them how to paint pictures. The activities director was nice. While we were there, we got to watch him. They were dancing. They were doing karaoke. That was delightful."

"My mother was at Dalton Square for three months. We were well satisfied with them. My mother didn't want to mingle a whole lot, but they had activities all the time for those people. The food was excellent. The staff was excellent, too. My mother was very happy there and we were happy with them. My mom had an apartment with a bedroom, a nice walk-in bathroom and shower, a little kitchenette, and a little living room area. So that was very, very nice. They also had activities going on all the time."

"I liked Life Care Center. They had a very good and responsible staff and had everything necessary for senior citizens to adapt to a life away from home. They had an ice cream shop, barber shop, and all sorts of facilities for physical therapy and doctors. It’s not too big or too small and is a very well-organized system for move her up in. The environment is very calm and most of all, the physical therapist was very good with the patients. "

"Never do I give reviews, however, it must be said that The Bridge and it's staff are one of kind top notch caring people. My family member was not an easy person to deal with until you got to know him, but that took time and energy. The Bridge staff outperformed any other facility in the area in caring for our loved one. The director, Jill Day, went above and beyond to make the entire family feel at home. And it was "home" for all of us any time we visited. Never did any caregiver, nurse, staff, chef, or maintenance member make our loved one feel like they were a burden. I have had several family members need to move to a facility, I only wish The Bridge could have been there for them. The patience they showed, the loving hand they gave and the understanding of difficult decisions were always met with a warm smile, a tender word of encouragement and a humble heart. Our loved one has passed, but The Bridge continued to reach out and be a part of our family. Please, do not hesitate to call this place your home or your loved one's home. You won't find a better, caring, attentive staff than here. "

"The staff was extremely personable and helpful in assisting my great aunt after she had a stroke. She had to be bathed, fed, and dressed every day. The meals that were served to her were above average in my opinion. The facility was well maintained and the linens were clean. The grounds were kept in a highly maintained way. It was much more inviting than some of the assisted living facilities I have encountered when visiting my elderly family members. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs assistance in caring for their family members who can no longer take care of themselves. "

"Since Morning Pointe of East Hamilton was new, everything was clean and fixed up very nicely. The rooms have a kitchen, a sitting area, a bedroom, and a bathroom, but they're just a lot smaller. They have a dining hall right up in the front and an activities room that we walked by."

"Martin boyd christian home is a great place to live. When you walk in you are greeted by a receptionist and you feel like you are entering someone's home. The facility does not seem cold or impersonal, it feels warm and inviting. There is a big entry way and living room when you first walk in. The staff are always helpful and nice. There are three separate sections for different levels of care. Each one has it's own living room and nurse's station. The different sections feel comfortable and are not overcrowded. There is also an outdoor patio to sit and visit with your family and friends. The outdoor space is filled with flowers and plants that look beautiful. The dining room is small, but it is large enough for everyone. The food is not great, but it is not bad either. The residents can keep their own food in their private rooms and that's a plus. There is also a piano in the dining room for anyone to play. Overall, Martin boyd christian home is a nice facility. I would recommend it to my family and friends. "
