We chose Lutheran Community at Telford because it is close to our friends and family. My mother was there, and I know what the staff are like because I spent many hours visiting. They are all very friendly. I have tried the food, and it is excellent. They have an exercise room. They have a pool, and they have entertainment (if you would call it that). They also have educational entertainment like lectures, if you want to go to them. The hospital isn't that far away; it is within a couple of miles. Restaurants are also within a few miles. Right next to it is a library and a grocery store. There are walking trails. There are things other than restaurants. We plan to move in in about a year or so.

I toured the Lutheran Community at Telford. They have a lot of nice facilities and a nice swimming pool. They're owned by another community I visited. They're about a mile and a half apart, and they bus their residents to the Lutheran Community to do some of the activities. The staff answered all my questions and gave me a lot of information. The upkeep was very well. The rooms that they showed me did not have a balcony.

My mom is at Lutheran Community at Telford for skilled nursing. Everything is convenient there and they have great caring nurses and help. They are very accommodating and friendly. They're just perfect. They care a lot about their residents and they have just everything. From physical therapy to swimming pools to salons to shows, you name it, they have it. It's very lovely. They bring singers in, there's entertainment, and people never have to be bored ever. They don't just sit in their room and stare at the walls. They do things with them. It's beautiful. They also do exercises with them, bingo, arts and crafts, and painting nails the women if they wanted to. It's very large and luxurious. When all your money runs out, Medicaid can take over. So, they don't kick you out and that's what's good about it.

The Lutheran Community at Telford is split on the highway, the other part is older, patched together, and they have some apartments and some cottages. They have a new building on the opposite side of the road that was self-sustaining, and its new. For activities, they go outside from parts of the campus to go to the other parts. That would have been my third choice. They didnt have any room available. I had been there with my daughter who plays in a Handbell choir, as part of their outside entertainment series for Christmas.

Lutheran was one of the places we were considering, but it was too far from where my daughter lives. They have homes, apartments, and other facilities. The rooms are roomier than the other places. They have church services, and they have bus trips. The staff seemed friendly and active.

The aides run the facility and talk terribly about the patients. The nurses have no control over the situation and are penalized when they attempt to get aides to do their job. Your family members will get good care but you will pay out the you know hwat for it!

Lutheran was updated, and they’re building a pool and a fitness center. The staff was friendly. They have one meal a day; I had dinner there, and the food was very good.

We already have my dad placed at Lutheran Community. The rooms are wonderful in all levels, independent, personal care, skilled nursing. He has been in all three levels. The staff has been amazing. They help you place your father or whoever in the proper level of care. He?s in personal care now. The sanitation is excellent. You walk in and there are no odors, no smells. They empty his waste baskets every day, change linens every week, change his towels every day. My dad has never been involved in many of the activities but they have them posted. He gets an enlarged calendar with all the day?s activities posted and they also have them on a white board in the common area so that everybody knows what time everything is.

It seems likethe Lutheran Community has nice apartments. The thing is that they are smaller than what I am used to. Their rent is like $3,100 a month that includes like one meal a day and it seems they have a nice lunch room. They have an exercise room, but they don't have a pool. The grounds are well-kept. I am looking for an independent living facility that I can rent.

This assisted living home is a great facility. My grandparents have lived there for the past two years. I have visited the facility several times and each time was a very pleasant experience. The kitchen and dining area are always very clean and the servers accommodated all of our needs. The living areas are very nice and spacious. There is easy access to elevators and hand rails on all levels of the facility. There is a courtyard and garden area in the back for leisure strolling and getting out. A church is near by for all tenants at the facility. Getting to shopping areas is only a short drive from the facility for grocery and other needs. There are multiple nights a week for activities for the tenants including bingo, pinochle and domino's. All tenants were very nice and pleasant to be around. The meals that I have received were all excellent and would highly recommend stopping into the kitchen if you do happen to visit. I highly recommend this assisted living home.
