My mother has been in here for a while now. She loves that place, and she was so happy to come back. The best thing about it was the way she was greeted by all the staff. The only drawback for her (being high functioning) is they tend to fill a lot of beds (if they have to fill them) with people that are closer to Alzheimer's patients, so that can be irritating. Taking that out of the equation, she loves the activities and the staff. They bend over backwards to help her. We couldn't be happier with the place. I would recommend it to anyone. They try to keep Alzheimer's patients separated. Every once in a while, someone with dementia is yelling (like last night). Those things happen from time to time. The staff cares so much. It's like they're family to the patients. A lot of them call her Mom, and she loves that. They will go out of their way for her. She was sick, and one staff went out to get her cough syrup on two of her breaks. The first time she couldn't find the brand she wanted. On her next break, she went out again and finally found it for her. They just go above and beyond. She doesn't always like the food, but she's very happy with the activities. There may be too much bingo, but she deals with it. They have live music, which she loves. They have groups come in. They have things in the summer, like having dogs and horses come out. They always have something interesting. They have hat day and dress up, and she enjoys all of the activities. They have a salon, an outdoor front porch, and an outdoor patio in the back, which is very nice with tables and sun umbrellas. They have flowers outside. Mom got a flower, and they planted it for her outside. They really go above and beyond. She's very happy to be there.

My mother-in-law is living here. The community is very nice. Everyone seems pleasant. The food is good. We haven't been up there for a little while, but I suppose it has been good. Everything seemed fine when we were there. We thought the living atmosphere was very nice. I thought the staff was very nice, too. They have an activities room and a nice outdoor area. It seems like they have lots of activities, but my mother-in-law is not interested in them.
