" My parents moved into Keystone Villa almost three years ago. The facility is beautiful and the apartments are very nice Our family has found the staff to be friendly, professional, and very caring. There are a variety of activities that appeal to many of the residents. There are card games, puzzles, crafts and entertainment to name a few. I would recommend Keystone Villa to anyone interested in independent or assisted living. "

"I used Amity Place for my mother as a respite first, and then she moved in permanently. She was only there for three weeks, though. The place was clean. I was very pleased with the care and treatment of the staff and the nursing staff. The only downfall I would have would be communication with their administration. The room was very nice. It was spacious for one individual, and that's all she needed. All her needs were met. It was more like a studio. She participated minimally in their activities just because she was fairly new and so scared. However, for amenities, they had a courtyard with flowers and a garden where the residents can participate. They had an individual from a local high school or local college who came in and played piano in a common area for them. They had two other common areas. One was a TV/library area, and the other was just an open area. I had no issues with the nursing staff or the other staff. They were great. The meals were pretty good. I was very pleased with the food that they got there. They accommodated a lot. The facility was very clean. She was in a wheelchair, so it was very easy to get around mobility-wise in a wheelchair."

"Manatawny Manor was a good, clean place, and the people seemed to be respectful and nice. The food and the staff were good. In the independent living, you can have a shared room or an independent room. It had everything you need, and it was well maintained. It was located close to a hospital and to the malls."

"My mom is in here. We choose it because it the one that we think is the best. It is clean. She has a private room and it is beautiful. It is very spacious and we manage to bring in everything that we want. She has a little kitchenette with a sink, a microwave and a refrigerator. She has her own bathroom. It is very clean and is always kept that way. The people are wonderful. The staff is very profession, courteous and friendly. I have dinner several times with my mom and the food is delicious. They have many activities and she enjoys all of them. They have exercise every day, crafts, bingo and cards. They have bocce, which she plays and several others. The thing that impresses me the most is the attention from the people. Whenever I am there with my mom, there is always somebody looking and asking "Is she all right?" or "Does she needs anything?" They are very prompt with her medication. They are very attentive to her and for me that is the most important of all. My mom loves it there. She's pretty happy and we are very happy. "

"The entire process of transition was really smooth, they prepared a beautiful custom furnished room and even requested family photos to hang prior to admission. The staff were very attentive and welcoming and helped ease my father in to his new home. The prices are very reasonable but the services are above and beyond what i expected. From all the facilities i toured the one thing that stood out to me was the owner of the home, he was caring and helpful and really put my mind at ease before taking this big step. "Penn Assisted Care was nice, the people there were very nice, and it was very clean. It was small, a little cramped, but it seemed like a family. It's very homey. They have a porch, they hang out there, and they go to the movies. "

"Eagleview Landing is excellent. All the resources are there in one spot, like doctors, dentists, and mental health professionals. The facility is clean, up to date, and very attractive. My dad's unit is clean and up to date, too, as well as spacious for what he needs. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and accommodating on questions, especially the relatives from out of state, like myself."

"Our second choice for my parents would be the Atrium of Allentown. The marketing sales team was good there. They were super helpful. It's a newer facility, so the building is nice. They have a more active memory care facility. Every time we went to visit there, there was always a large group of people doing activities together. The activities there were more robust than what was going on at the other place. They had a lot of onsite services available, too. It's a large rectangle. There's a courtyard for memory care that's accessible for residents. They have a spot where they can go. The tour experience was great. They were very accommodating. It was very good. The staff who gave the tour was great, too."

"Heather Glen Senior Living is brand new, it's wide open on the inside, with lots of skylight, and plenty of areas where the residents can go, relax, and read the newspaper. The dining room is clean, the food is good, and I've eaten there a couple of times. Everything seems to be good so far. There were a lot of services for my father-in-law before the lockdown. There was onsite physical therapy, occupational therapy, a barber and hairdresser, and medical care onsite as well. The staff is good. We went there one time and there was a musician playing for them. They generally have three or four things going on each day."

"The tour I had at Juniper Village at Lebanon was very good. The people were very nice. The place was very clean and nice, but it was just a little bit too much for me to handle. I only saw 2 members of the staff. One was the boss woman and she was very nice. The other one was helping with the care of people. The room that I saw was very nice. It was pretty much new. They had just cleaned it up and painted it."

"I went to St. Martha Villa. Everything was good. They had single and double rooms. You can bring your own television. There wasn't much where you could get an oven or anything like that, so it was very suitable for elderly people. The staff who gave the tour was very pleasant. They would even take the patients out to markets and stuff. They have a shuttle service where they can go to Giant Market or to other convenience stores."

"We chose Columbia Cottage Collegeville for mom because it's a small community, and the caregiver to resident ratio is favorable. They offer a variety of activities and services, and the location was also beneficial. They had 10 levels of care from independent living all the way through to skilled nursing. It is great because she can age in place, and the staff has been amazing. They have three different sized rooms. My mom is in a 312 square foot room (which doesn't sound like much), but it is perfect for a single person. There's a full bathroom with a walk-In shower and pull cords by the bed and in the bathroom for assistance. There are three different sized rooms. They're generally on a wait list, but we happen to call them at a good time. They have one available. It's really like a big home. They have a living room, a TV area, dining room, and kitchen (which is all open for the residents to use as they like). They also have a hair salon onsite, as well as a physical therapy area. They have therapists that come in several times a week and a hairdresser that's there two days a week. They also have a nurse on-staff 24 hours a day, and they're great. If there's any medical assistance needed, they're there. They have various activities like arts and crafts, games, bingo, and movie night. They also have a vehicle, so they can do scheduled transportation to doctor's appointments. There are two courtyards inside the building, so residents can go outside and enjoy them without the risk of anybody wandering off. She likes the food so far."
