My mother moved into Kelly's II Personal Care Home. It's small, there are only 8 residents there. The staff is very good, and there are 2 of them 24/7. The room is just like how it would be your bedroom at home, it's very nice. The food is all home-cooked. It's out in the country but it's only 10 minutes from my house. It looks like a house. They do puzzles, play cards, and crocheting.

My mother-in-law had some respite stay in Country Cottage. The facility was clean, nice and well-kept. It is quite and has a laid-back atmosphere. The care was good and they were very nice. The owner was very nice and very accommodating, though there doesn't seem like a lot of staff, but I think they seemed okay. However, whenever we needed them, they usually don't have a bed available and there wasn't much activities for her. We have decided to place her in a nursing home.
