My mother was in the Chapelwood area for the past year and a half. The care, consideration and respect shown to her was outstanding! She passed away recently and her care during the last week of her life was unbelievable! During her unresponsive times, the staff showed compassion and always called her by name and explained to her what they needed to do to keep her comfortable! I can't say enough about this facility. Before her last illness, she participated in all the activities, enjoyed the food and staff. I could rest my mind knowing that she had excellent care.

I liked the layout of The Easton Home, but they didn't have a shower in each room. My mother needs help with bathing, so they would have to bring her from her room to the shower, and it's in a central location. It's one person to a room, but the rooms were very small, and the bathroom was just a sink and a facility.

We did visit two of the places that were recommended, and one was called the Easton Home. It looked like a lovely place for a loved one. It is probably the best dementia care center I have ever seen. The gentleman was very pleasant, very thorough, and showed us the rooms. I don't think that was his ordinary job, but he was the only one available to help us. Everything was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and the staff appeared very quiet and patient with all the people who were there. The dining room was very beautiful, and they said that the food was very good, but I did not eat there.
