Rehab at Shannondell

My mother is in Rehab at Shannondell. It's really nice. The room is pretty good and pretty big. I haven't spoken too much with the staff, but I do at least get updates pretty regularly online, so that's helpful. My mother has not been happy with the food. She keeps getting food that she either didn't order or didn't like, and a lot of the food that she gets tends to not have much flavor. Everywhere that she's been to in the last couple of years, the food has been terrible at all of them, but at least at Shannondell there are other things that are nice about it. The rooms are nice and the staff is generally a little bit better.

My aunt stayed at Rehab at Shannondell. It was very good. I would give them a five across the board. It's new, but architecturally, it's a beautiful facility. She liked the food. It's a very active community. There's a lot of activities. They have a ballroom, so a lot is going on. It's very expensive though. She was there for rehabilitation and she stayed there for a little more than a month. The staff was very good and very professional. It's cost prohibitive to an extent.
