My mother moved into The Forum at Town Center. They have a lot of activities and they keep things going. It's a good value for the price for what they're doing. I've met many of the people there, both staff and residents. I visit my mother pretty much every day. There're very nice, caring people there. Everybody is very polite, very nice, and caring. The cooks are more like chefs. They prepare the food more or less from scratch. They have activities between the meals every single day. There are activities every day throughout the day. They keep them engaged. There are wide hallways, so they can walk. There's a pool, and they can go over to the independent and fellowship there if they want. They can walk through skyways to the connecting buildings. The assisted are in an older building. I think they could do a couple little updates on the place, but so be it. It is a good value for the money.

I am very pleased with The Forum at Town Center because of the friendliness, the frequent music presentations brought in here, and the frequent trips into the community. We have a pool, which I enjoy, and we do water aerobics at the pool. There's one other plus to this place, too. All of the shopping is very convenient. They are within walking distance. I'm keeping my car, although I'm not driving that much anymore, but even my doctors and the hospital are within 3 or 4 miles. So, it's a very good location. The rooms are large. My one-bedroom is 750 square feet and it's more reasonable than most of the places in this area. They have multiple card groups going on, games, exercise classes, and art classes. We have a theater group and an ambassador group so that new people are assigned to a person to help them get acquainted and learn the ropes and everything. So, that's very helpful. We have fun people working here. They make it exciting to be here and they're very caring. The only thing is, there is a turnover or maybe shortage of people doing the maintenance work and doing the cleaning. We have a lot of food choices. You can choose to pay for 1, 2, or 3 meals a day. However, most of us have one meal, and that's plenty sufficient because the portions are very generous. I usually have leftovers from lunch to have for dinner and vice versa. They have a good variety on their menu and they are very tasty. They also listen to us as far as suggestions and changes and they have made changes at our request. They could be a little bit better about cutting down the carbs and giving us more protein. We're still working on that.

The Forum at Town Center is first on my list right now. I liked it. One of the buildings looked kind of tired, but they were doing some kind of improvements, changing the carpets and so forth. The activities were one of the best for me because I'm still not very old and I need some activities. They had Tai chi. They were charging $100 for parking. Some places have assigned spots, and in some places you could park where you wanted. But this was the only place that charges, and I think $100 was too much. This was also the only place I visited that doesn't offer three meals. They had some kind of points system. You could choose one meal a day. They had apartments that had a washer and dryer, and I really liked their rooms. Their rooms were nice and cheery. They had a lot of machines in the exercise room. They had some kind of a courtyard. They had a swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, and they had exercises in the water. They had three different buildings. The biggest one was the place for eating and watching movies and all these things. I expected an opportunity to sit with some of their residents. And for some reason, this person that I had an appointment with was not there. He apologized that he couldn't take me around, so another person took me around, but she did a good job.

My mother is a resident at The Forum at Town Center. It's an old building, and if there's ever any problem, it never gets solved. I'm unhappy with them. She's on a different medicine and she is going to be needing more care with her new medicine. It's a beautiful room, nice and spacious, and it's a 1-bedroom. They also have a studio and 2-bedrooms. They have assisted living, but it's full right now, and I haven't been able to get a tour on that one. They have everything from swimming, pool volleyball, bocce ball, and bingo. They have like nickel gambling and happy hour. They go to different activities like zoo concerts. They are a good community. My mom is on a different type of medicine, and it makes her very unstable. She's going to need people to watch her in the shower. She's getting forgetful because of the meds she's on.

The team at the Forum is amazing. Joy is very caring and the caregivers are very sweet. The rooms are large and the residents are busy doing crafts and things. Wouldn't choose anywhere else. They've been able to keep everyone safe during the pandemic.

I'm extremely happy to be here and appreciate everything they offer for us to get out and do. The staff is very courteous and don't put themselves above me. I like the fact they are close to the bus lines and the Max. Very convenient location.

My aunt is in the Forum at Town Center. It's been a big mess and they're short on caregivers. It's been horrible, and they closed down part of it. I would not recommend it to an elderly person that's wheelchair bound. People have to wait for an hour or an hour and a half for care. Ninety percent of the time the food is wonderful, and the kitchen and dining room staff are the best. They're just not organized right now. All of the good staff members are gone, but the director of nursing upstairs seem to be nice. Some of the staff members are a five and the others are not even a one.

We chose Town Center Village for my mother because it was a large facility that was on two levels and being on 10 acres. There was a lot of room for her to exercise without having to go up and down elevators. There were many residents there, and the price was on the higher side. It's an older facility. They had a pool and two fairly large dining areas. The assisted living is separate from the independent living. She needed help with medications, but they didn't start giving her medications for about 10 days, and it took a while for them to get them to her at more reasonable hours. She isn't getting the bathing that she's paying for and they lost some of her laundry. She has Parkinson's, so her doctor recommended using the walker as much as she can, but one of the nurses told her to get on the scooter or they will call her doctor. Although it's a large facility with lots of residents, most of them are 10-15 years older than she is, so there isn't really a social group for her.

My mom has been in Town Center Village three different times for rehab. They have different levels of care, they have the rehab, regular senior living, and assisted living. One of the things that is really nice is the dining area, the way it's set it up, and the food that they serve is really nice. The staff was very honest. My ruby necklace broke and fell while I was helping my mom down the hall, and it was turned in by a staff member and returned to me. They tried to engage with the people, and they even encouraged my mom to go to Bingo and things like that.

I put money down on Town Center Village. My visit was enjoyable. The people were very pleasant. I liked the units, the pricing, and the location. I saw one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. They had trips, like shopping locally, taking overnight trips, and things like that. They served three meals a day and snacks in between. The person who helped me tour the place was very pleasant and very helpful. I felt very comfortable meeting everyone down there. They were really nice.

I visited Town Center Village. The rooms were very nice. I liked the floor plan, and they were modern and up-to-date. The staff was very nice and knew a lot of the residents' names and greeted them by first name, which was impressive. They had a lot of activities. They had a quilt room, a swimming pool, and activity rooms; someone was having a flute lesson. There were a lot of things going on. There was a bus leaving for activities. It was my favorite place, but it's farther out than I wanted to go. Its location was the only negative thing.

Town Center Village seemed really clean, nice, and friendly. It has a nice atmosphere, and the dining area is really nice, well-kept, and clean. They have a pool, a workout room, and 3 pianos. They would transition to Medicare down the road.

The Town Center is quite large and spread out, so unless you're quite mobile, it would be a hard place to get around in. If you're independent living and very mobile, then I think it would work better. They have a lot going on and are very close to the big shopping center, which is a plus. They have transportation available. Most anything you would want, you could get there.

I just moved into Town Center Village, and I loved it. It's like a resort here; there's all these big buildings -- I'm in the Gables and there's the Towers and the Fountains. There are 24-hour nurses on staff here at The Fountains for assisted living. It's almost like a living hospital inside the place, and there are gates there. There's someone at the gates all the time. The room is huge and gorgeous, and it has really big windows. There's a big living room, a small kitchen, 2 wall to wall closets, a big bathroom with a tub and a shower, and a storage room. It's like a little house here. They have a pool, water aerobics, Tai-chi, golf, and a vitality center where they do line dancing and lots of things. They have so many activities. The staff are like saints -- they're so nice -- the marketing people are so great, and the waiters and waitresses are golden. They're there if you need them for anything, and I love them all.

Very unhappy with lack of supervision. Promised daily confirmed check-ins. My mom had a fall in her room and was not checked for nearly 3 days and almost died. In rehab after 2 weeks in hospital. Rehab is releasing her to independent when she isn't ready. No one with any authority is involved. Management seems not to care. Security is weak especially for such a dangerous neighborhood. I can open my mom's door with a library card. Thanks to the caring staff who have been great. Once "Marketing" sells you there isn't anyone following through on care.

Town Center Village was a bit battered and depressing. The pool area looked grimey. It was so large a place that even the tour guide got lost. I was pretty horrified when it happened.

I get a lot of services that I could use at Town Center Village. They give me one meal per day. I can choose either breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I also have a 365-day swimming pool, and workout area a few steps away from where I am living. They have some outdoor trips. It’s perfect for me. The staff is a very cooperative, and helpful group. They give me all the help that I need, and I also have the liberty to be completely alone if I wish to be. A lot of companionship, and then a lot of time alone.

The Town Center Village had a lot of amenities. The rooms were lovely, and the atmosphere was very friendly. We were there on a night when they were having cocktail hour and entertainment, and it was really nice.

Town Center was very nice. I enjoyed that one the most because the rooms were bigger and had lots of lights. It’s close to the mall and regular apartment buildings around it, so there are young people around. The people were very nice and pleasant. It’s also family-owned. They had availability if you had a dog. I liked that one, and I just kind of fell in love with that.

Town Center Village was a great, huge place with different levels of care; I just saw senior living. I had a lunch there that was very good. They were very friendly. The rooms were nice and can clean with big bathrooms, kitchens with a stove and refrigerator, and a washer and dryer in it. You have to pay extra for parking your car. They have all of the amenities you would want.

Town Center Village is where my mother-in-law has been in for a few years. It’s very clean and well-decorated, and the staff is very caring toward her. It seems she just has to wait a long time to go to the bathroom. Other than that, it’s been great.

We had my friend settled in at Town Center Village. We chose it because she liked the place very much. One of the reasons was because she had a washer and dryer in her room; that was a big plus for her. We were very happy with the people that are running it. It was a very clean place, and everybody was friendly. The food was good too. The residents can come down for their food anytime between 7 and 7. They have a lot of activities; I couldn’t even name them all.

The director and the assistant talked to me. I liked the exercise area, and there were lots of activities that I'm supposed to do. The rooms were very nice and very clean. The price was about the usual. It looked like Town Center Village was a right place for me.

We were able to visit Town Center Retirement Community, and it was a lovely place. We like their food service and the way they price their food service. We like a lot of things about it, but we were just not certain about the location. The staff is wonderful. They do have activities, and they have busses that take you to shopping and church as well as cultural events. They have a recreation room and an exercise room.

The Fountains at Town Center was a pretty big building. My mother needed more individual type of care, so we decided to get my mother into a smaller environment, where there's not so much confusion or not as much people, a one-on-one situation. But the facility was wonderful. It's just that there are a lot of people, and my mom is kind of lost. They've really helped her and so forth, but it was too massive for her and she really needed individual care.

The staff was friendly and very alert. They were very concerned about meeting the therapy requirements that were set for my father. He was able to meet their hurdles and they played a big role in his success. There are people that go through the motions at other facilities. Not so here. Each patient is taken care of in an individualized fashion and the plan for recovery or action is already evident within hours of their arrival.
