"My mom will be moving in. We liked it a lot. It was very homey. They had a lot of caregivers there. However, it seemed a little bit crowded to me. It seemed like there were a lot of people there. The staff members were very friendly and very helpful. They were very excited to talk to us and gave us a lot of information. The facility was not what I expected, but it was very, very good. For activities, they were very busy. They were doing group activities. There were a lot of people in there, and they were all engaged, and it looked like they were having a good time."

"I was a mess when I came here. Dr. ordered 3 types of therapy. I have no money but Medicare gives me 20 days for this. Here are my observations on arrival. Should also tell you I am an old retired nurse/hha. 1. No Odors at all upon entering. 2. Rooms very clean and organized. 3. Beds are more comfortable than others 4. Meals on time and at least warm. 5. Food is following the nutrition guides and apperease homemade and not out a can. 6. Staff may be a little short handed but everyone is taken care of 7. Therapist are not contracted. They are employees and most of them have been here over 5 years. 8. The days are busy for the residents who want to participate eg: shopping, field trips. 9. live music 2/3 times a week. 10 GENERAL FEELING OF WELL BEING. "

"I had an in-person tour of the William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home. I liked the cleanliness and the fact that they had a full activity calendar so that even though he's suffering from dementia, he has an opportunity to do things. They also said that there are veterans who come out and volunteer and take the vet out on day trips, maybe to the mall or out to eat. They take them to a park or something like that. The activities and the cleanliness stood out to me. The staff members are all very nice as well and willing to help. They had multiple dining rooms, which I thought was good. They also had multiple places of worship for them."

"The building and grounds are beautiful, modern, well kept, very clean and orderly. More importantly, the staff was extremely caring and well trained. The entire process from pre-admission with Leaha, until my fathers recent passing was very organized, reasonably priced, compassionate, and family centric. My family would like to extend our special thanks to Marioma and her entire nursing team for their kind and compassionate treatment of my father. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is in need of elder care for their loved ones. "

"I first saw, Falcon Ridge during their open house on April 9th and I was blown away by the services they provide. The facility is beautiful and sits in a quite area. Their physical and occupational therapist and office staff were just wonderful, very inviting and knowledgeable. Offering residents the ability to maintain their home environment during their stay at Falcon Ridge. Having an onsite beauty salon, spa, and therapy gym was something I have not yet seen in a nursing facility before. I would highly recommend this facility for families who need to place a loved one in skilled nursing care. "

"My mother is currently in Indian Oaks Living Center. I am very pleased with it. It seems to be well-liked by the residents. They get together and talked to one another while they are eating their meals. The staff is wonderful; they are very attentive. Their price is about average, and it may be slightly cheaper than some of the other places. I was told by my brother that they had quite a few activities for people during the day. The security is excellent. "

"My Great Grandmother was very well cared for at the facility. Her living space was very nice and I felt comfortable being there. It was a warm environment unlike the place she was living before that. Whenever she had an issue the maintenance staff and the providers were there within 5 minutes of her call. It made myself and my family feel good about her living there. "

"I came to look at facility, it is beautiful they said it had recently been remodeled. The lady who answered the door was Angela, very nice and helpful. Helped me with signing in and answered questions that I asked. Walked through facility which was very clean and meet several people all were nice. Rooms are nice and very clean. Residents were doing activities and looked to be having a great time. I strongly suggest you check them out. "
