She said the food was abundant and very good. I think now she's in a nursing home situation. She's unable to stand, and they have to use a hoist to take her from the bed. She was in rehab for the therapy before that. Her room during that was fine. It was a 2-person room. The place has a garden and a courtyard."

"Mountain City Nursing was wonderful. They tried physical therapy, which is very good. Everybody was very well solicitous and organized. I was there quite a bit, and I noticed everybody was very concerned and confident in their care. The nursing staff was tremendous. I thought it had a very nice familial atmosphere. "

"My mother is at Brookmont. It is very well maintained, and everything is very clean. Every time I go, everything is in order. Everyone looks well cared for too. My mother looks very clean too. So far, I'm very happy with the care. My mother shares her room with another patient but her room and her beddings are always very clean. I do know they offer activities, but my mother has not been able to participate. The dining area is large. The food is very good. I know my mom is very happy with it."

"I transferred my mom to Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center. She had a private room which was very nice and pleasant. The staff were very good. They sat with my mom during meal time just to get her to eat some pureed food. They also treated her bed sores and it got healed. "

"My father has been in here for almost a year. My mom had just died, he had to have surgery, and the last place he wanted to go was to a nursing home! But he has some dementia and couldn't stay at either my brother's or my own house. He just kept wandering and didn't understand he couldn't go for walks like he used to. So, we had to do what we didn't want to do. It still isn't easy seeing him there, but they take wonderful care of him, it's very clean, and they really do care about the people that stay there. He is finally feeling like it is his home. He gets to talk to other people there and can go around in his wheelchair to all the large areas on his floor. There are also several large rec rooms with huge windows he can look out of. With all the trees there it seems like you're in the country, which is where he lived most of his life. He's on the fourth floor and they have an outdoor terrace with tables, tomato plants, and flowers in the summer. He still feels like he living on the farm! We are so pleased with him being there and the good attention he gets! "

"Moss Rehab was fine but will not be able to provide the physical care that my mother needs. She has four therapists with her, so she is the center of attention. She likes the food very much. The gentleman who runs all of Moss Rehab is very driven to try to provide the best. "

"My mom is presently in Mosser Nursing Home. There are several reasons why we chose this place. The hospital provided a list of places, and this was the closest to our home to see where she lives. It also had one of the higher recommendations. Moving in was great. They were very helpful there. I had a nice long sit-down with the administrator who explained all the processes. Their social worker was very good. She kept in contact with me over the last four or five days. Their contact with the clients was excellent. The facility itself was clean and well- organized. The staff were helpful. I only saw one meal, but it looked good. One of the staffers was helping my mother eat it. She was having a little trouble manipulating the forks and stuff like that. The food looked excellent. I didn't get a good chance to go over their activities. I talked more about physical therapy, but I saw that they had some activities posted on a bulletin board. They had a hairdresser on site, doctors were available, they had a special therapy room, and they had a separate shower room. The room where my mother was in was a nice size, with good closet space, and a TV for every bed. It's excellent for the facilities as well. Medicare is covering it right now, so I don't know their exact cost. Then when Medicare runs out in 20 days, I understand they would check my insurance and said that would pick up the co-pay. But based on the quality of care I saw, I would say it would have to be a good value. "

"My dad was at Lehigh Center. What impressed me with this facility were the nurses and the staff. They really took care of him. They spent more time with him than anybody else. We're really impressed. My dad was in a nursing room, and basically, it was a two room with a curtain in the middle. He had a nice view of the grounds, which were quite beautiful. There was a lot of farmland and trees. The food was average. It was not good, and it was not great. My dad couldn't eat from the day he got in there because his throat started closing up, but they had everything you could possibly ask for. However, they could do something with the cosmetics of the place, maybe a new rug or something like that. "

"Please, please think twice before putting a loved one in this facility. I had a friend that was losing her battle with cancer and unfortunately she spent the last days of her life in this hell hole. The staff here are absolutely horrific! They could not care less about human life. What my friend had to endure in her last days I will never forget because of these people. They would leave her sitting in her own feces and urine for hours without changing her. She had bed sores so bad that they were infected because they were too lazy to rotate her. When I visited her two days before she died she was crying out in so much pain because they had not given her pain medication. She was suffering!  She had not eaten since morning and she was soaking wet with urine and feces in her adult diaper. I was disgusted and crying from that shere shock of how these people had treated my friend. I immediately went to the nurses station and there was a doctor sitting there reading a patient's chart, I was crying and I told him what was going on and he couldn't even care less. A Charge Nurse came over and I again explained the situation.  She said that she would send someone in there right away. I sat and waited with my friend in her room for 20 minutes and no one showed up. I put on a pair of sterilized gloves and then proceeded to clean her myself. Tears falling from my eyes looking at the bed sores as my friend was wailing in pain. This place needs to be closed down! Shame on you! I will spread the word to everyone that I know to never go to this facility even if their life depended on it. I am now left reminded of my friends last days on this earth of the pain that she suffered not only from the cancer but from the hands of these so-called "Caregivers"  as one of the most god-awful experiences I have ever witnessed in my life."
