"Heather Glen is a beautiful, nicely appointed facility-- but even more significant is the professionalism, enthusiasm, and warmth of everyone working there including the administrator, the marketing director, the nurse, the activities coordinator, the med techs, and the caretakers. I appreciate the individual care and attention they give to my sister. It's impressive the effort all made to learn my sister's needs and interests. We are so happy that Heather Glen is now open. My family and I strongly recommend it!"

"The rooms are big,large,and comfortable with attached kitchen. They have 24/7 nursing care. Nurses and nurses aids are very efficient and caring. Inside Whitehall Manor they have a hair salon,the hair salon lady is there from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. they have many kinds of activities like bingo, checkers,and many more. The men can play pool and golf.They celebrate every holiday like Christmas,Thanksgiving,Easter,and New Years Day. All the residents are most welcome to invite their families to attend the holidays with them. They have a pond outside and all the residents can go out in their wheelchairs and walkers with the help of nurses aids. Most of the residents enjoy sitting outside and have live band performances done by high school students and a local magician. All the residents are offered three meals a day with ice cream party in the afternoons in summer and hot cocoa in winter. "

"My mother-in-law is a resident here. The office staff and wellness staff (in particular the woman on day shift at the front desk) are excellent and know me/us and who I am related to---they are very helpful, accomodating and caring and really work with us to provide the best possible care for her. The aides do a good job of personally caring for her too. "

"We toured Atrium of Allentown. We liked everything about it. It was beautiful. The person who gave the tour was wonderful. She gave us so much information. Everything was clean. She showed us rooms, and even the dining room looked spotless. It was very nice. They had just finished having lunch when we got there, so they were cleaning everything up, but the dining room looked very nice. The layout and size of the room would have been perfect. We were really disappointed that my daughter couldn't afford it."

"Phoebe Allentown was very nice. It also has a very good reputation for the people that stayed there, but it’s older, so it's not as pretty. They have picnics. It’s a very nice location as it’s close to a number of things in Allentown. The food was fine. They are very good in the nursing home and memory care. They were very top of the line, and they do a lot of very progressive things. "

"To make a long story short and to the point, I broke my hip and Westminster had a bed for me ,I was nervous, scared not knowing what to expect. The staff greeted me with so much Love and Respect I cried. I did not realize so many kind, caring people would be brought into my life. The aides made me feel like Family, if needed they were right by my side. Dr. Rabenold and Dr. Mona Lisa were on top of test checking with me everyday making sure my health was Priority!When it came time to be discharged I did not want to leave. I went in to Westminster not eating as I am very fussy. The food was Fantastic I never ate so much and if I wanted to I could make a Special request. Please Trust me on this one I Promise you the Best care, Excellent Drs. and Love! I would make this number 1. Pattie"

"My mother-in-law is currently at Bethlehem Manor right now in their respite-rehab program. The physical therapy comes into the facility two times a week, so that's how she's getting her rehab. It's a small place and it's good. She has good days and bad days. It is just her not wanting to be there, but I think overall it is good. Everyone seems really nice to me, but you got some bad apples in every facility. I didn't have a problem with them, my mom has a problem with a couple of them, but I think it is just her, and I don't think it is the staff alone. I think it is just she not wanting to be there. I like it because it is a smaller facility and everyone knows everyone, so I like it. They were having a Memorial Day picnic for them, and they bring festivities into the place. It's nice. She seems to enjoy the food, too. They have a whole calendar of activities for June."

"My mother is here. The staff are very caring with their patients. They make sure that they are taking care of the residents. It’s a nice and cozy facility with a fireplace with chairs. The place is also very clean. The food is all right. "

They were wonderful with us and helped her with the ipad so that we could talk to her even when we couldn't come visit. "My mother spent the last 4 months at N Penn Manor until she passed. I was so impressed about the quality care and respect that my mom received there. The staff was always friendly and pleasant with her and readily available to assist her with her needs. The residents are also friendly. The facility was clean. Her room was comfortable and nicely furnished. The bathroom was well maintained. After being in 2 other ALFs prior, this one ranks way above them. I only wished I found North Penn MAnor sooner. "

"I had a wonderful experience with this facility. I moved my father from another facility to this one and will always be glad I did. The staff are wonderful and caring people who took the time to get to know my father and his preferences. The place is the cleanest home I have ever seen in my life, kudos to the housekeepers! "

"Pond View Manor Personal Care Home was a very small facility, they only have about eight residents there, and that's where I want to place my mother. I thought they were excellent. It was very personal. I mean, they were very caring. I went there, like 4 visits, and every time I went there it was nice. It was a homey environment. The clients there were smiling. They seemed like a very loving community. When I got there one day they were doing memory-type games. It was great because then they had a discussion, and I thought that was good for a mind game. Then I went down and I talked to the owner of the place and then when I came back, they were doing exercises. They were doing gas, pedal, scissors. When they were sitting down, they were doing arm exercises, and then they got together. A gentleman and another woman were doing a puzzle together. Two women were playing cards, and another woman was reading. So I thought, it was like they were all in this one community room and they were all doing different things, but they were all talking with each other. So I did like that place an awful lot, but most of the people are very mobile. They could get around pretty well with a walker, and my mom needs a lot more assistance now. The staff was excellent, she followed up with me after I went to visit, and she would call me once a week to catch up and say "How's your mother? How are things going?""
