"My husband did rehab at ProMedica Total Rehab. He just got out on Saturday. The care is good. They were just in there all the time with him and they brought his medications on time. It was a nice place and it's a newer one. My husband said the food was good. They don't share the food with the people coming to visit though so I have not tried it. He was in a private room with one bed, a good-sized TV on the wall, and a good-sized bathroom."

"My sister has been at this location for close to 4 years. Most of the nurses and aids are very polite and kind to my sister and me. I may have seen maybe one aid that was disrespectful to a patient, that was several months ago and haven't seen her since. They are understaffed and the nurses seem to be weighed down with endless paperwork and/or managing medication distribution. The activities person, does a fantastic job of keeping the residents active and engaged with bingo, art and crafts, parties, music, etc. The facility is clean and neat and decorated for the appropriate season. One comment that I would like the management to address is the fact that there isn't a nurse present, during mealtimes in the dining room. There are aids, but a nurse needs to be present in case of a choking or other situation. I witnessed a patient choking and the aid was trying desperately to get a nurse. One finally arrived, but I think it would be a brilliant idea to keep one in the dining room at mealtime. The aids, that I've seen are very good with the patients. The receptionist is very kind and attentive. The location of the facility is beautiful, as nursing homes go. I'm glad that my sister is here, in between cows and horses in the countryside of Chester County. The staff work hard to keep the residence happy. I attest to that. "

"My brother is in Fairmount Homes for rehab. It's been wonderful, absolutely wonderful. It's beautiful, well run, well taken care of, and the nurses are all so nice. It's a great place to be. They're open and honest. They talk so you can understand what they're saying. So many of them use professional words that Mr. and Mrs. don't understand, but these guys are really good. They have a cafe, and it's OK. It's right on the very top of a ridge. You could see five miles in either direction."

"My mother is at Berkshire Center nursing home right now. She had knee surgery and broke her ankle and so far, they're really good to work with. Everybody I've met and talked to has been very helpful. She likes it. They have their own living room area on each floor where they have games, and there's a little deck where I take my mother every Saturday night to eat outside. She likes their rehabilitation staff, their PT, and OT staff. They really know what they're doing, they're very caring, and very thorough. The food is hospital food, but it's healthy. It's a nice facility."

"Barclay Friends was awesome. It was my first choice, but they could not hold a bed for my mother. It was a beautiful place. The staff was very informative, helpful, and very nice. It was in a location that my father was comfortable with. "

"I can tell you that the staff at Golden Living was very caring and supportive. They make my parents feel very welcome there, and we feel like they are being well cared for. The place is very clean. However, personally, my parents complain about the food a little bit, but that's just may be them because everything I have seen looks like it will be good. "

"Some of the staff members are really good and interested in providing good service. My biggest complaint is that there are rarely open parking space for visitors. Every time I go there the "Visitor" parking spaces are ALL taken by employees that work there. There are usually some just sitting in their cars on break using their cell phones, etc. That means I have to walk all the way from the top lot to enter the building. If I were running this place I would DEMAND that the "Visitor" parking areas by dedicated to visitors only!"

"My mom has been at the Mifflin Center for over a year now. I can always find an employee when I am there and friendly faces. If there is a concern it is addressed in a timely manner. During the COVID-19 virus I have been getting daily information from Zoom meetings. It is very informative and we can ask questions. It is comformting to see the staff members on the Zoom meeting smiling and laughing through the stress they deal with daily. I feel they are doing an excellent job to keep our family members safe."

"The place is nice, however it is a little run down (Pocopson). The food is alright; I have eaten there before with my Grandfather. The staff are very nice people and are friendly with the residents. However, it has a weird smell to the place and the rooms aren't all that great. You can tell they were cheaply made. There are many events such as Bingo there every weekend, and they have a nice place where you can sit down / watch TV when you are eating. They serve lots of things there, and they do put some effort into the cooking. When it is warm outside, residents can sit outside and have a smoke or read the paper. It's a nice green lawn with a small garden and some big trees. Going back inside, the lobby area is pretty small as well. The place has big locked doors in a lot of places so the residents can not get out unless you sign them out and they are healthy enough to leave. "

"My 76 year old father was in a very bad car accident in which he broke both his legs and had a total hip replacement. After his stay in the hospital, he could not go home as he was unable to bear any weight on his legs for 8 weeks. After some research on nursing facilities, I chose Wellington Terrace for him. I am very happy I did and so is he! Wonderful staff, very attentive, clean facility and excellent food! Couldn't be happier! "

"My mother has been in the nursing care wing of this facility since the end of July. We have been so pleased with all the people caring for her (so nice, professional & caring) and the beautiful surroundings. (It was remodeled recently & even the nursing care rooms are carpeted!.) Her health has been good since she's been there. They've done much more for her in physical therapy than the assisted living place she was in before. Mom is so happy that she was allowed to use her scooter after she took the 'driving test.' She loves to go outside & at this place she's allowed to go out on the porch whenever she wants to. She can also go out to the front lobby as long as she lets someone know where she is. I also like how residents in all 3 care levels interact. I attended chapel with Mom last week & I think there were about 70 people there! They also had a small choir of residents. They have nice activities & they encourage everyone to get out of their rooms to participate. Beautiful common areas & beauty salon. The only downside is getting used to a small living space & a roommate, but that would have been pretty much the same anywhere else and Mom seems to be getting used to it, focusing on the positives. "

"It was a lovely place. Always very bright and cheery. The staff could not have been better. All the facilities were always very clean and orderly. Everything was new, none of the facilities or amenities were old or worn down, like you find in many other assisted living/nursing homes. Jenner's Pond staff really strives to mantain a pleasant and safe environment for its' residents. If there was ever a problem they were always there willing and ready to do whatever it took to make the family happy, fix the problem and make sure it would never happen again. "
