"My mom lived here during the pandemic. They did a great job of keeping her safe. They also got some new management in recently and the food, caregivers and activities have gotten really good. They were all pretty good before but now they are really good. I wish my mom could have lived there longer but I am happy to know she was happy at the end of her life. It's such a big change and so scary for everyone but the staff at Spring Mill really help to make everyone comfortable and feel like family."

"I toured Echo Lake, and it was worth a six. It was like being in a luxury hotel. It was gorgeous. Everything that you can imagine they have, except for the chapel. They have doctors' offices. They have a gym. They had a huge art room, and a bus to take you places, like a weekly run to the supermarket, within a certain distance. Also, to doctor's offices if you didn't want to use the doctor that was there at the building. It's a couple of stories high. It was huge. For me it was expensive. They had a lot of two-bedroom units there as well."

"Daylesford Crossing seemed new and clean. The rooms were nice. They had an activity room and a library. The dining area was very nice and looked like a restaurant. I did not have a meal, but they showed us the menu, and there was a lot of variety. The staff was very nice."

"Manatawny Manor is nice. However, my mom is very adamant about going into any kind of place. The rooms are nice and the place is clean. They did some renovations. The staff seems very helpful and very knowledgeable. There is nothing bad I can say about it."

"Arden Courts was very clean, friendly and it had an open garden area. It just seemed very nice and comfortable. The staff is very professional. Each room had two or three people in it with a bathroom in each room. The dining area is fine, and everything is very clean. "

From the initial meeting to the actual day our Mom moved into her room was a process that was extremely pleasant, well thought out and most importantly everyone from Rose Tree was friendly, helpful and caring ! Mike, Erin and Cindy were incredibly personable, responsive to our issues, questions and needs and as I mentioned above, they truly care about their residents. "In the summer of 2010 my great aunt became a resident of Rockland Place in Wilmington, Delaware. She know longer wanted to live alone after her husband passed two years before. My family and I have visited her several times since she moved there and have been impressed each time. She is very happy there. They have a great staff, delicious food, and great amenities. She is able to live alone but still have the comfort of twenty-four hour staff and residents close by her own age. They have a lot of great activities, are there at a moments notice and like to take the residents out. We have always been happy with how kind and helpful the staff is to us when we visit her and think that the grounds are amazing. They even have instructors come in and teach their residents and they are able to sign up for classes to keep their minds fresh. She is very happy there and I would honestly recommend them to anyone. Residents are even allowed to have small pets if they wish to have them and the staff helps them with their care if they need it. "

"My mother moved to Arden Courts in 2011. She has been a resident of Arden Courts for over two years now. Her dementia prevents her remembering where she is or why she is here. The caregivers and all staff interact with my mother in a positive, friendly manner. They smile and treat mom with respect. Before each of the many daily activities, a staff member tells mom about the activity and asks her if she would like to join in the activity. Mom participates in many activities, such as chair exercises, painting and other art projects, sing-along, bingo, word games, story telling, balloon volleyball, manicures, resident birthday parties, pet visits, and worship services. Mom especially likes the out trips when residents travel by bus to a restaurant, park, musical performance, museum, or a scenic ride. Mom receives much more mental stimulation than she received in her house three years ago when she had only one in-home care provider at a time. Now, the increased interaction appears to have slowed mom's mental decline and it definitely elevates her mood. I recommend Arden Courts for your loved one with memory loss issues. "

"The visiting experience with Ivy Gables was wonderful and the person who showed me around was great. The place looked fine, but their residents were more non-mobile, so it just wasn't quite a good fit. They just need to improve on communication because I gave them all the patient's information, but I never heard from them again."

"The Lorelton was beautifully decorated with really friendly and welcoming staff. They had a beautiful dining room. It's an old historic school in the City of Wilmington that was converted into rooms and apartments. I toured with one of the sales managers who was very friendly. It was a large, lovely facility with bright hallways, well lit with big bright beautiful windows in all of the apartments. They had lots of activities like gardening outside, sponsored movies, clubs and groups, and trips outside the facility. They also had a craft room. Regular groups go together based on interests and hobbies that were expressed by the residents, and clubs were formed around the collective interest of the community, not just a social worker or an activities director. The apartments were just so bright with high ceilings and big, beautiful windows. "

"Chestnut Ridge was gorgeous, but we couldn't afford it. It was very nice, very inviting, the people were friendly, the staff was very informative, and could tell us about the actual benefits my aunt could actually get. The rooms were clean and tidy, and it's really a very nice place. They were able to get a bus to go to church, play bingo every day, and have a movie night."
