"I'm using Home Instead - West Chester, PA for my brother. I have been using it for about a month and a half now. My brother has a certain degree of cognitive skills, so he needs to have someone to sort of watch over him. He needs a companion more than anything else. He needs somebody that will sit with him. I got this service so that I could get away. It's for me more than for him. I'm tethered to him so many hours of the day, I'm his sister and I wasn't expecting to be in this position at this point, I just needed to be able to have a break now and then to be able to go do my thing and do my grocery shopping and stuff like that and not worry about what was going on if I left him. All they're doing is sitting with him as a companion, talking to him and taking him places, and so forth and so on. It's worked out so far. I was very pleased with the gentlemen that they sent out. My brother is a bachelor. He never got married, he never had children, he never had a wife, and I thought he would be more comfortable with a male whom he could talk about sports and so forth and so on. I requested a male, but the company at the beginning said that the possibility of getting a male home care provider was not going to happen because they were so short of staff. However, they found that this gentleman was interested in the hours that I wanted (I'm only having him three days a week for four hours at a time), and he signed up for those hours, and he turned out to be just perfect for my brother. He is educated. He is just a great guy. I like him, and my brother likes him, too. My experience with Home Instead has been great. They're very easy to work with. I would give them the highest rating. I'm very pleased with this gentleman that's coming out. I would recommend them. I would not have been as satisfied if another person had come out, but the gentleman who came out was well-educated. He is easy going, and he's easy to talk to. My brother and he hit it off right away, and my brother is very comfortable with him. "

"Following recent foot surgery I was 'non-weightbearing' for 6+ weeks. A Place At Home provided excellent in home care for me. The caregiver was prompt, patient, knowledgeable and very helpful. Initially she provided 24/7 care. The services included personal care, grocery shopping, laundry, meal prep, doctor's visits and more. Once I was able to manage better we switched to day care services. I was very pleased with the company and recommend their services! Thank you APAH"

"We have had Vivian in our home for one year. She is such a ray of sunshine when she walks through that door. She always dresses stylish, which sets a happy mood for the day. I have total peace of mind leaving my husband with Parkinsons Disease, while I run errands or do something fun. She really makes our lives easier dealing with this disease. I trust her and she always does a great job with any task. We are blessed Vivian is in our lives."

"We are extremely satisfied with my 95 year old mother's care by a Home Instead caregiver, who has provided care for at approximately two years. Home Instead worked with the family to ensure that the caregiver was a good fit for my mother. Her caregiver is competent, kind, and compassionate. She keeps us informed of all issues concerning my mother. She provides daytime care and companionship in addition to 24/7 care which my mother has from a different agency. We feel lucky to have her."

"I'm using Seniors Helping Seniors of Delco. The caregiver came in yesterday and did laundry for me, which was the best thing because I was running out of underpants. They're doing laundry, light cleaning, and anything else I want them to do, like putting things away. The caregiver is very empathetic, a good conversationalist, and has a very pleasant demeanor. Communication with the agency has been very good. They give very fast responses. I'm so relieved to have this help."

"We have been using Neighborly Home Care for the past six months to provide services for our handicapped daughter. They are By far the best agency we have used in our 20 years of experience. The staff is friendly and reliable. They go out of their way to help in any way that's possible. Clients are anonymous at the big agencies, but Neighborly is small, efficient and personal. No one is anonymous. My family and I are happy to recommend them to anyone who needs home care."

"I have hired Home Helpers and am highly satisfied. They are coming in twice a week for two or three hours doing cleaning, meal prep help, and some rides to and from appointments. The caregiver is excellent ay caring for my parents very well and has told me it's as if they are her own parents. They send weekly invoices, and I pay them through my parents’ bank account online, so it is very easy. They keep communication open with scheduling. They are flexible if I need to add a day or add a ride on a day that I know my caregiver is available. They are on time and very reliable. If there is a day that I need them and the original caregiver is not available, the original person I met with is always available, or someone is always available. We are very happy, and my parents love their caregiver. "

They assist her in bathing, they assist in serving her, her meals, and they assist with taking her for a walk. Keona provides excellent care.
