I am a current client of this provider

We have been using Neighborly Home Care for the past six months to provide services for our handicapped daughter. They are By far the best agency we have used in our 20 years of experience. The staff is friendly and reliable. They go out of their way to help in any way that's possible. Clients are anonymous at the big agencies, but Neighborly is small, efficient and personal. No one is anonymous. My family and I are happy to recommend them to anyone who needs home care.

I just started using Neighborly Home Care. They help me het dressed, use the commode, and do light housekeeping. The caregiver is very nice, and they're pretty good about getting somebody in here.

When my husband suddenly had a heart attack, I was at a loss, not knowing where to turn to for immediate assistance for myself, as I am an MS patient, in a wheelchair myself and have relied, for years, on my husband for my daily care and needs. I was frightened and felt alone, not knowing how long I would need 24/7 overnight assistance, until Neighborly Home Care stepped in with two compassionate, well-trained, understanding, and qualified aides to help me out for weeks until Michael returned home. For me, trusting another caregiver is important, and for the next few years, I have continued to rely on their company to match me with professionally trained, quality aides. especially when I need someone to temporarily fill my needs.

I am a past client of this provider

The last day my mom was in this world they didn't send a caretaker. When I called the manager she yelled at me that I woke her up. In the afternoon they finally sent a girl, right before mom died. The girl sat in the armchair sleeping, and even when mom took her last breath, the girl said: "Well, I have to go." This company should not even get close to elderly people.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

Superb! My family member has a caregiver from Neighborly Home Care who provides transportation to doctor appointments, shopping trips, etc and also provides companionship to my family member. It is only because of the quality and reliability of the provided care that my family member has been able to stay in their own home several years ago. The service is of the highest quality, and the caregiver has also been flexible in providing my family member with additional care during periods of illness. Highly recommended!

I was referred to Neighborly Home Care by my neighbor last September. I have had one caregiver. Ashley is a pleasure to have in my home. She takes care of everything for me. I am now a part of her family.

I started services with NHC on Dec 2012. I have found my services to be most satisfactory and could not be happier. I have been blessed to be able to form wonderful relationships with the caregivers who were matched up to work with me. I am hoping to one day be back on my own but know NHC will always be a phone call away.

About Neighborly Home Care in Ardmore, Pennsylvania

    Welcome to Neighborly Home Care

    Compassionate Care Is Our Focus

Neighborly Home Care is a non-medical agency in Pennsylvania that specialized services assist those afflicted by Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Dementia, Stroke, Physical disabilities and other debilitating conditions.

We are experts in home care. With over 25 years of collective experience, our management team has the knowledge and skills to provide excellent service to our clients and their families. We are fully bonded and insured. We are technologically savvy and use phone ‘clock-in’ technology to monitor timely arrival/departure of caregivers.

We are available 24 hours a day by phone to respond to your requests. This includes clients who need services set up quickly for the first time. We are an employee-based home care agency, not a registry, which means we hire all of our caregivers directly, pay their taxes and insurance, and ensure they are properly supervised and trained, so you don’t have to.

Services offered but not limited to:

    • Personal Care / Companion Care
    • Alzheimer’s / Dementia Care
    • Live in Care
    • Medication Reminders / Meal Preparation
    • Light Housekeeping / Laundry
    • Transportation Services / Running Errands
    • Personal Hygiene
    • Escort to Doctor’s Appointment
    • Respite Care
    • Hospice Care
    • One-to- one care during hospital stays

    Our Process

Maybe your decision involves choosing between home care or a nursing home. Maybe you need help figuring out if companionship care is sufficient or live-in assistance is essential. Or maybe you just need someone to sit down with you and explain what all these terms mean. Our process helps clients and their families make good decisions and move forward.

    Step One: Initial Phone Consult

When our clients, or their concerned family member, reach out to our agency, the first step is to schedule an initial phone consult. The phone consultation, or phone interview, is typically with a concerned family member of the person who is in need of services. At this time, we discuss the location where the care will be provided, why you think your loved one may need care and how much care you feel is necessary on a weekly basis. We discuss the attributes and qualities you think may be helpful in a caregiver and review the payment options that NHC makes available to our clients and their families.

    Step Two: In-Home Consult

When you decide to move forward in the process, our next step is to schedule an in-home consult. If possible, we recommend meeting in the home of the person for whom you are requesting care. We will spend time with you so you get to know our staff and our agency to a greater level. We will also look over the premises and create a plan of care for your loved one.

    Step Three: Home Care Set-Up

The last step is to set up care for the home. We make sure that the plan of care is followed so that there is a safe environment for the client. We complete all necessary paperwork, find the right caregiver to match what you need and set up a schedule for your in-home services.

Your community is our community: locally owned and operated, we serve Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks, Chester and Philadelphia Counties. Please give us a call 24/7 for free assessment.
