"My husband is in the Memory care unit. He was in Wyoming County hospital which was attached to the nursing facility. I didn't have much choice. We waited seven weeks to place him, and that was the first place to take him. My first impression with it was OK, but I am not happy with the staff at all. The food is good. I haven't eaten there, but my husband says it is good. They have very few activities. The ones that they do have are slanted more towards the women. There are very few activities for the men. I am waiting to get him out of there. I do not like the facility. I was a nurse for a year, and I cared for the seniors a lot of which were Alzheimer's patients. In my opinion, if the state came in there tomorrow, they would never pass. My husband has had food on him. He hasn't been shaven, and he hasn't been toileted. I'm just not happy with the place. I'm waiting for a place closer to home. I can't get him out of there fast enough to suit me. He is in a shared room. It is old and way too small for two people. There is an inspection control problem because it is too small. "
