"My Mother was a resident for eight months until she recently passed away. My family and I could not have been happier with the care she received. She was treated with dignity and compassion. Her medical needs were addressed as well as her emotional ones. I can not say enough about the staff - from the nurse managers on the 3rd floor to the cleaning people. It was a very positive experience. My family and I wish to extend a heartfelt thank you."

"My mom was in Loretto, and we chose it because they had a bed available at the time that we needed it. The staff was very good. Mom was on the 13th floor, and I thought that was a special unit for private pay, and they were very good. The room was kept clean. The bed was made as soon as the person got up and left. Their food was acceptable. I would eat it without hesitation. "

"I have visited Loretto many times. My grandfather lived here for two years and I visited him about 3 or 4 days a week. We had many meals together, holidays, and family get together. They are very good about giving you space to spend time with all your family instead of having to be crammed in a small room. They were great to my grandfather and treated him with a lot of respect. They were great about calling me when anything happened; big and small. I trusted that they would call when something happened. They kept him very clean, did everything he needed, and were very personable. The staff was very friendly, facility was clean, and his needs were always met. Unfortunately his health declined fast and he had to be put in the Veterans hospital where he later passed away. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great place to get care. "

"We visited Menorah Park of CNY. We spoke about memory care, but we visited the assisted living, which is The Inn. They're very, very well kept. The rooms were larger. The residents had many places they could meet. The lounge areas were a fairly good size. The staff seemed happy, which was important to us. If you like your job, you got to be happy. The sales department was really good. Their security was better than in any other place. You had to check in and they took your temperature and all that stuff to protect the residents. They had everything everybody else has and the views was much better, too. No matter what room you may have been in, you had a very nice view. It's very calming. The staff was great. The facilities were impeccable."

"My mother is in Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. It's fantastic, it's a five-star facility, the staff is very professional, and everyone has been very supportive and very helpful in this transition. She has been as comfortable as she can be, she's been there for a couple of months now, and she's on the first floor now which is in the nursing facility. It's great, everybody has been fantastic, and I really don't have any complaints. She said she likes the food, I'm in constant with the nursing staff, social worker, and the case worker, and she's eating just fine. The food is very substantial, and of good variety. The facilities were very nice, very clean, and very secure. I've been able to see just the lobby, the outside of the building, and through the window I was able to see the inside of the room area, but everything looked very clean, well-kept, and very updated. They have music time, there are individual TVs, but there is also community TV, they have different programs, community things and individual things."

"This nursing home is not one that I would recommend unless there is family that is willing to keep a close eye on what is happening to their relative. We have a family member visit my relative every day since she was addmited. I spent the first three months setting up special options her, ie. a special menu each month, I am allowed to bath her, she can sleep in until she wakes up, etc. My relative has Alzhiemers, but has been able to dress herself and use the bathroom without assistance up to this point. She is faltering quickly in being able to do these things. Therefore, the nursing home personnel will have to start helping her with her everyday needs much more very soon. At that time, we will have to see if we are still comfortable that she is being taken care of properly. Rosewood recently was added to the federal list of the worst nursing homes in the U.S.. With all the things the social worker helped us to change for her in the first few months and being able to be there daily, we have been happy here and have been able to stay on top of her care. The social worker and the dietician have been a wonderful help. If you do not have the time to set things up personally for your relative and cannot be there all the time to make sure they are okay, I would not recommend this facility at this time. "

"I dont really have any negitive to say about this place. They take great care of my 80 year old grandmother who has not recovered from hip surgeory. She has been through a very rough time and the staff has really keep her in high energy. I bring her food often and we eat in an open room to get her 'away'. The staff is always open to this and bring us whatever we may need. I also take her to several places around town to eat, shop, or do whatever. The staff always makes sure she is ready and on the bus at the right time. Whatever we need them to do, the staff is right on it. Also, on holidays, we use their empty cafateria to have our meal in. The staff is very nice about allowing us to use it free of charge. I am glad that my grandmother will be spending the rest of her days at this place. Its a very clean facility, great staff and great care. "

"My experience with St. Camillus was when my mother stayed there after a stroke. The facility was always clean and staff was very friendly. The rooms were a little small, but certainly workable. The grounds are well-kept and there are nice wide wheelchair accessible paths throughout the area. The facility owns its own vehicles for transportation to appointments, and outings. All in all I believe that this was a good facility. My only complaints would be call bell response and food quality. Sometimes it would take staff 10 minutes to complete a call. And residents were not satisfied with the food quality or variety. My mother was happy with her stay at St. Camillus. She enjoyed the activities and she had a nice comraderie with the staff. I would recommend this home to family and friends. "

"My mother stayed in the Crossings for sub-acute rehab after she fell down the stairs and injured her back. She was there for approximately three weeks, and I stayed with her almost round the clock for the first two days, so had a great view of the facility. I really like The Crossings. The facility itself is modern, green and leafy with outdoor space that residents actually use, and floor to ceiling windows in the rooms. The staff was friendly and professional, and they joked with my mom while getting her to work hard. Every nurse, OT and PT I met was just super caring and professional. The day she moved in there were two problems with her room (hospital bed did not raise and key from drawer was missing) -- both issues were fixed the same day. I would recommend The Crossings without hesitation. "

"The Stonehedge Health and Rehabilitation Center was well run, with a very helpful and courteous staff. I was always greeted with a smile and many of the staff knew me by name, which was always a nice thing to know they cared enough about the family members of the resident to remember them. When dealing with the on-site staff, I found them to be well informed about what was happening, they always seemed to have the upmost concern about my grandmother and were very knowledgeable about what was going on in the building, as well as being keenly aware of my grandmother's medical needs. When I would stop by to visit my grandmother, the facility was always clean, well-kept and the residents seemed at ease and peaceful. Some facilities I've been to had a certain chemical odor to them, but that never seemed to be present at Stonehedge. The day rooms and living spaces were always immaculate and on the whole I found this facility to be a great fit for my grandmother. "

"The rooms are big and I like the concept of private rooms and bathrooms for the residents. The staff have been fantastic with my relatives. They are very caring and helpful. The physical and occupational therapy they have received has been very beneficial and I have seen improvement in both my sister and my mother. The nursing care has been wonderful. They have stayed right on top of all their medical concerns and needs. The food is ok but if residents don't care for what is being served that alway have an alternative choice. They have activities for the day posted and it is the residents choice if they choose to participate. On nice days they have a beautiful screened in patio for residents to go out in sit in and enjoy the fresh air, read, relax. or do what pleases them. I have visited other rehab centers and nursing homier the area and they do not compare to the quality of care that residents receive at the cottages. "

"I really enjoyed visiting this place due to how friendly everyone was. Many nice volunteers who worked side by side with the patients and helped them with their daily tasks. This place was also very clean and kept up. Out of the many nursing homes I have been too this one was by far my favorate. "

"This facility had great nurses that were all very helpful. The facility allowed for visitors often and I was allowed to go whenever I wanted to see my grandmother. The nurses were all very polite and competent. They helped with whatever my grandmother needed and were all so pleasant to talk with. The facilities were kept clean making it more pleasant to visit. Outside behind the facility there is a small playground area that the patients were allowed to visit while visiting with family members. The facility also has cats that walk around certain areas and spend time with the patients making them less lonely and often times a lot happier giving them a sense of being home. The food was good and the cafeteria was also a nice place. The cafeteria workers were all very polite and friendly and for the people who were unable to go to the cafeteria the meals were delivered in a timely meal according to what the person wanted. I would definitely recommend this facility. "

"The rooms are decent, good lighting..however they need to get humidity in the rooms to prevent dry skin, difficulty with sleeping. The staff is outstanding in spite of the fact there is understaffing. The staff is committed to each patient, providing quality care, and genuine kindness. They are very responsive to family concerns, or patient concerns. They had many activities for residents to attend..my mother enjoyed them. Auburn Community Hospital needs to reward the staff for their commitment... it is a true calling and dedication to those they care for. ACH needs to incentivize people to work there. Challenge...Mr. Berlucchi and others get OUT OF YOUR SEATS walk over to FLCL/rehab and watch the quality of care...establish relationships with staff, patients and family...do this at least 3x's a day...you would learn invaluable information to continue the excellence that happens there."

"My husband moved into the Crouse Community Center. It's as well as can be expected, they give him excellent care. I would want people to know that this is a good place. Everyone that works there, it's not only compassionate towards him, but also towards me. There are many opportunities for activities. They have courtyards where the residents can go out, and they can be outdoors, but they're safe because they can't get away from the facility. The people do their job well."

"The Commons on St. Anthony is a newer facility. We ended up putting my husband's mother there, and it is lovely. The staff is very friendly. They are very willing to work with us. The room she is in is very clean and beautiful. They serve one big meal at lunch, and it looks very nice. There is a beautiful physical therapy suite on site, and they have a salon. "
