"My wife is presently in the dementia unit. This is a locked facility required for late stage dementia patients. It allows residents the freedom to roam and provides activities. The facility is well maintained and Staff is caring and compassionate. I visit my wife twice a week and would highly recommended Iroquois."

"The staff at the Heritage took care of my mom in her final few years. Caring for patients with memory and faculty loss is obviously incredibly challenging. There are numerous activities for the residents and great efforts are made to provide for social interaction. Mom loved playing Bingo and the staff always ensured that she was able to join in the games. Over the past few years I saw so many examples of love, respect, and dignity given to the residents. We were very lucky to have had our time with the Heritage and will never be able to thank the staff enough."

"I have visited Loretto many times. My grandfather lived here for two years and I visited him about 3 or 4 days a week. We had many meals together, holidays, and family get together. They are very good about giving you space to spend time with all your family instead of having to be crammed in a small room. They were great to my grandfather and treated him with a lot of respect. They were great about calling me when anything happened; big and small. I trusted that they would call when something happened. They kept him very clean, did everything he needed, and were very personable. The staff was very friendly, facility was clean, and his needs were always met. Unfortunately his health declined fast and he had to be put in the Veterans hospital where he later passed away. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great place to get care. "

"We visited Menorah Park of CNY. We spoke about memory care, but we visited the assisted living, which is The Inn. They're very, very well kept. The rooms were larger. The residents had many places they could meet. The lounge areas were a fairly good size. The staff seemed happy, which was important to us. If you like your job, you got to be happy. The sales department was really good. Their security was better than in any other place. You had to check in and they took your temperature and all that stuff to protect the residents. They had everything everybody else has and the views was much better, too. No matter what room you may have been in, you had a very nice view. It's very calming. The staff was great. The facilities were impeccable."

"My mother is in Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. It's fantastic, it's a five-star facility, the staff is very professional, and everyone has been very supportive and very helpful in this transition. She has been as comfortable as she can be, she's been there for a couple of months now, and she's on the first floor now which is in the nursing facility. It's great, everybody has been fantastic, and I really don't have any complaints. She said she likes the food, I'm in constant with the nursing staff, social worker, and the case worker, and she's eating just fine. The food is very substantial, and of good variety. The facilities were very nice, very clean, and very secure. I've been able to see just the lobby, the outside of the building, and through the window I was able to see the inside of the room area, but everything looked very clean, well-kept, and very updated. They have music time, there are individual TVs, but there is also community TV, they have different programs, community things and individual things."

"This nursing home is not one that I would recommend unless there is family that is willing to keep a close eye on what is happening to their relative. We have a family member visit my relative every day since she was addmited. I spent the first three months setting up special options her, ie. a special menu each month, I am allowed to bath her, she can sleep in until she wakes up, etc. My relative has Alzhiemers, but has been able to dress herself and use the bathroom without assistance up to this point. She is faltering quickly in being able to do these things. Therefore, the nursing home personnel will have to start helping her with her everyday needs much more very soon. At that time, we will have to see if we are still comfortable that she is being taken care of properly. Rosewood recently was added to the federal list of the worst nursing homes in the U.S.. With all the things the social worker helped us to change for her in the first few months and being able to be there daily, we have been happy here and have been able to stay on top of her care. The social worker and the dietician have been a wonderful help. If you do not have the time to set things up personally for your relative and cannot be there all the time to make sure they are okay, I would not recommend this facility at this time. "

"My husband's grandmother is currently at St. Camillus, and they're doing a great job. She has some health issues, and they seem to be on top of it. It's clean when we visit. The staff is really friendly and helpful. We don't have complaints. She was on a liquid diet when she got there, and they've been able to get her back on regular food again. The staff has gone out of their way to make sure that she's leaving her room to eat meals. I like how the staff has managed at mealtime because she wouldn't leave her room nor do anything. The staff has always been incredibly helpful, answer our phone calls, and find information; we never get an "I don't know" or "I don't have time." They always get us whatever we need to know over the phone, and they're always pleasant when we're visiting. The facilities are a little dated but always clean. She's been there for a year and a half."

"My mother stayed in the Crossings for sub-acute rehab after she fell down the stairs and injured her back. She was there for approximately three weeks, and I stayed with her almost round the clock for the first two days, so had a great view of the facility. I really like The Crossings. The facility itself is modern, green and leafy with outdoor space that residents actually use, and floor to ceiling windows in the rooms. The staff was friendly and professional, and they joked with my mom while getting her to work hard. Every nurse, OT and PT I met was just super caring and professional. The day she moved in there were two problems with her room (hospital bed did not raise and key from drawer was missing) -- both issues were fixed the same day. I would recommend The Crossings without hesitation. "

"My grandmother was a resident with Sunnyside for 2 years and I have been more than impressed by the care she has received. I was fearful of having her be placed into a home but the staff has been nothing more than excellent and caring throughout her entire stay. I would recommend anyone who wants their family member safe and cared for to go there. "

"Cannot express how grateful and thankful we as a family are for the care that has been and continues to be provided by the staff at Elderwood at Liverpool for my Father-In-Law. Even during COVID they were amazing. He has Alzeheimers and is in the last stages, but they continue to treat him and the other residents with such respect and care. The staff is above and beyond and steps in when the family can't be there. We are truly grateful~Thank you. It means more than words can tell~"

"I went to see my aunt at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Chittenango. When we got there, there was somebody there that we knew, and he was doing good. It was a friendly atmosphere, very homey, and very nice there. It seemed clean. The people were very nice. The nurses were very nice. The lobby was nice."

"The rooms are big and I like the concept of private rooms and bathrooms for the residents. The staff have been fantastic with my relatives. They are very caring and helpful. The physical and occupational therapy they have received has been very beneficial and I have seen improvement in both my sister and my mother. The nursing care has been wonderful. They have stayed right on top of all their medical concerns and needs. The food is ok but if residents don't care for what is being served that alway have an alternative choice. They have activities for the day posted and it is the residents choice if they choose to participate. On nice days they have a beautiful screened in patio for residents to go out in sit in and enjoy the fresh air, read, relax. or do what pleases them. I have visited other rehab centers and nursing homier the area and they do not compare to the quality of care that residents receive at the cottages. "

"This facility had great nurses that were all very helpful. The facility allowed for visitors often and I was allowed to go whenever I wanted to see my grandmother. The nurses were all very polite and competent. They helped with whatever my grandmother needed and were all so pleasant to talk with. The facilities were kept clean making it more pleasant to visit. Outside behind the facility there is a small playground area that the patients were allowed to visit while visiting with family members. The facility also has cats that walk around certain areas and spend time with the patients making them less lonely and often times a lot happier giving them a sense of being home. The food was good and the cafeteria was also a nice place. The cafeteria workers were all very polite and friendly and for the people who were unable to go to the cafeteria the meals were delivered in a timely meal according to what the person wanted. I would definitely recommend this facility. "

"The staff who showed us the Hazel L. Carpenter Home did a fine job giving us a tour of the place, and I had heard good things about it. I saw that the residents needed to share bathrooms as well as showers. I just did not think that would be a good fit for my mother. "
