"We’re waiting to get my husband into here; they haven’t had a bed available for a month. It has the reputation of being one of the best in the state. When we went for the walk-through, it was clean; there was no odor. There was no hustle and bustle in every hallway. The rooms are very up-to-date and clean. It was very serene and gave you the impression of a fine hotel. "

"My sister was in St Lawrence Rehabilitation Center. They were very good. They had excellent care. It was a single room. The staff was very professional and very attentive, which is important. I think the food was OK. She really didn't have a great appetite at the time, but the food was OK. It was balanced meals. It was institutional food. I think they try to give you what you asked for and change whatever. I would say it was good and nutritional food. It was clean, and I think it's well kept. I think it's a very good place for a rehab."

"Everything in here is good, al the people are good, they are kind. The nurses, cleaning ladies, social worker and people from therapy are the best. I'm excited to go home but I'm sad to leave everyone behind. "

"I went to the assisted living part of Greenwood House called Abrams Residence and I liked it a lot. That place would be good for those who don't want a lot of people. There were just too few residents there. They only have 25 residents and so it was very intimate. They have kosher food, which my sister's not interested in, but they have that. Dave was the one who gave me a tour of the place and he was very nice, very personable, and very helpful. The dining area was very attractive and warm. They have games, outside entertainment that comes in and religious services, but I guess mostly Jewish."

"My father-in-law had medical problems and had been in Mercerville Center several times. He was there when he passed away, and they really took good care of them. It's a nice environment. They have a dining room for the people. They have little things going on, like bingo, they play songs for them, they have parties, and they have communion and masses, which is important for my mom. It just seemed like the people care about the residents that are there. The staff is really good. If you have any problems, you go to them, and they take care of it. 9 out of 10 times if I noticed something and I went to them, they apologized. And within 24 to 30 hours it was taken care of. It's an older place, but the rooms are adequate for the people. There's lots of light in there, and there's always somebody checking on them. My mother was doing therapy, but she has plateaued now. So they basically commit, like every day they would get her up more around a little bit. But she's no longer in therapy. They have a day room they can go in and do puzzles or anything. In the mornings, they bring people up to the dining area and set it up, and they do exercises with them. Whenever somebody has a birthday, they have a big thing in the dining room for it to have cake and everything for the people. There's a real concern for the resident's well-being. "

"Very attentive and caring staff for my mom, who entered Continuing Care for physical therapy for a broken hip and remained as a live-in patient due to dementia. She was in a different facility where she was left on her own to the point that she dislocated hip twice and had to return to hospital for treatment and further surgery. Once she went to Hamilton Continuing Care, there was never a problem. They had her up and dressed every day, and always was within sight of a caretaker. I am very pleased. "

"As a patient, I see the care and experience the service. Like all places, they have some good nurses and some that care less. The wound care nurse is great. The rehab professionals are great and care about there patients. The Doctors connected to the facility are caring. The staff is friendly. Most of the patients are older and long term. They mostly come from Trenton. But a few of us open-minded, out-of-towners see beyond race and location. "

"When I entered Merwick 3 weeks ago, I was in extreme pain from a compressed fractured vertebrae. I could barely move and was very frightened. Dr. Sidhu and her caring team of professionals worked to alleviate my pain and enable me to begin therapy asap. The therapists were encouraging and urged me to try my utmost. The support staff and nurses followed through in the planning and were a large part in my success. Merwick is decorated in soothing blues, meticulously maintained and well run. If you must rehab, I strongly recommend Merwick."

"I felt that this facility was a very nice retirement community. The rooms were nice and the facility itself was very well kept. The staff was always friendly and said hello to us in the halls. The residents seemed like they were cared for and treated kindly and well by all of the nurses and other staff members. The residents had the option to live independently or with assistance which I felt gave them freedom to the usual nursing home. There were not one but two dining rooms for the residents to eat. The staff in each room was nice and the food was good. It seemed like they always had activities and events for residents to participate in and encouraged them meeting new people and trying new things. I thought the facility was very accommodating to all of the residents and their needs. Our family friend seems to enjoy where he is staying and is well taken care of. "

"My husband is getting very good care at ManorCare . His physical therapy and occupational therapy is excellent. It is a good place. It's clean and it does not have an odor. His room is bright and airy. He likes that he can see the main entrance from his room. He does not have much of an appetite but food is good. If I have a question they answer it. I'm not there all day, I go for a few hours in the afternoon. I trust the people taking care of him. His therapists are very good. "

" My mother recently stayed at Princeton Care Center Center for IV medication and rehab services, for a total of almost a month 1/2. It is the best rehab facility we've experienced. When I visited my mother there was always so much activity all around with patients in therapy department and/or family visiting them. This would put my mind at ease and was great to experience. The Director of Nursing has an open door policy-which was great!! Overall the staff at Princeton Care Center were welcoming, helpful, and attentive. There were a select few CNAs who were not as cheerful at times, but they were still respectful of my mother’s needs. All the nurses my mother had were awesome and few went beyond their call of duty. As for the rehab, the therapists were excellent!! The rooms in the facility seemed to be all semi-private & my mom’s roommate was very nice. Overall my experience was positive one and I would recommend PCC to anyone who asked. "
