"My mom will be moving into Compere's Nursing Home. The appearance was very nice. It was in downtown Jackson, and I did not feel insecure at all in the area. It was a nice facility, and it was not brand new. When you go in, you didn't have patients sitting in the hallway. It was just nice, clean, and very organized. It was a small facility. Their staff, Danielle, was the young lady that helped us. She was very knowledgeable and very helpful. She knew her information on Medicare and knew the process that we were about to go through. She was just very thorough in giving us any information we needed. She was very polite and very professional. Several of the residents brought their sombrero hats and Mexican looking hats. My uncle and I asked if they were they having some kind of event. The staff said she thought lunch was going to be Mexican, and they were preparing for that. We went back into the area where the dining room was. Several people were sitting around tables with their hats on. I think one table had some people doing a puzzle. The yard was mowed and well-kept. The flower beds were nice. The parking was right there at the building. It was not a very big facility. They had a total of 60 beds. Out of those 60, there are five private rooms."

"My dad resides here. They do not take care of these patients. I visited my dad and he was wet. They don’t communicate with him. The CNA are horrible. My dad doesn’t like them because they have done something to him. My dad is loosing weight due to them not feeding him. I see people being neglected. Don’t take your love ones there, Please."

"My Mom-in-law moved to Manhattan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Their grounds are appealing. The outside looked friendly, welcoming, and very well-kept. The color scheme inside was cheerful and pleasant at the same time. It is clean and smells nice (the smell to me is always important). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Every time we go in there, they are. If they don't know an answer, they'll find someone who does. Overall, it's a very good place and I would recommend it."

"My aunt is at the Edgewood Health and Rehab. It's a beautiful place, very modern, and extremely clean. In fact, I probably would go there when I need to find a place. I think they are professional, friendly, and very thorough. I am completely satisfied with their service. I've seen them doing paintings, nature walks, and board games. I think they have a variety of things. They do physical therapy. She has been going to some kind of arts and crafts class too where they do beadwork. The rooms are very nice and fully equipped as well."

"This is the best place. Patients are taking care of in so many ways. She has her hair done there every Tuesday. They go on trips to Casino, Walmart & other places. Church’s come to teach & sing. Their physical therapist do an outstanding job. Nurses have been great. Staff has called us when she was sick or any of her meds have changed. Front office billing etc.. no issues. We are thankful for everyone at Briarhill."

"My Mom was transferred from St. Dominick's Hospital to the Nichols Center on January 10, 2023, to the rehabilitation wing and when it became necessary, she was transferred to the long-term care wing. she remained there until she passed on April 10, 2023. During her stay, she was given the utmost care and treated by staff as if she was family. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very attentive, professional, and kept me informed of any issues. Mom was comfortable to the end, and I am forever indebted to the Nichols staff. I would recommend Nichols to anyone who's seeking care for a loved one."

"Clean facilities with professional and caring staff. My grandmother was well taken care of at Wisteria Gardens. When she needed assistance, staff were there to help. The therapy helped her get better and stronger quicker. "

"I don't know about the other reviews but I do know how they took care of my mother. My mom is a new stroke patient and admitted for rehab. .other purports they take good care of her and even check k on her every hour. Rehab is great and we can see solid improvements with her rehab. She is learning to walk again and is already up using a walker, simply amazing. Mom gives me reports on what she eats each day and it sounds pre6good actually. Nurses and CNA's are nice and ensure she has what she needs. Mother has made numerous friends while at the facility also. Overall, a good group of people that have displayed integrity. I certainly "would" recommend this place to my friends for proper care. I will always be grateful to the staff!"

"My mom spent about 20 days there in 2016 for rehab. There were 2 administrative ladies who bent over backwards doing everything they could to help me place my mom there because it was extremely close to my home and we were having a hard time finding another place to take her that was decent. I was there almost every day. She was on the west side in a private room. The rehab was very, very good. My mom liked the facility, although it wasn't home and she wanted to go home, She did not want to make friends. She did not want to eat meals in the dining area, so they brought meals to her, although later than the others, and she fussed about that. We thought the food was very good. Her major complaint was that morning meds were distributed about mid morning. She was used to having her meds early in the morning, and it drove her batty that meds came so late. They had lots of activities on both floors in general gathering areas. Friends who came to visit her there commented that it was a very nice place. If she has to go back, this is where we would try to return to. "
