Edgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation

I visited Edgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation and toured their nursing home section, and it is beautiful. The setting is very serene, and the people are moving around. They have different areas for different levels of care for persons with dementia and Alzheimer's, and those without. I like the way that was divided up. I really love the idea that they could walk there, because my mother is a walker, even though she walks slowly. They can walk around and even go outside with supervision. The dining room was nice, and people were eating when I was there. The security was tight because you could not get out unless someone allowed you to, and that's important. They just couldn't walk out the front door. It's very clean, and there was no smell. It looked like a new facility, but they told me it had been there for a while. The staff member who gave the tour was very nice and told me about respite if I wanted to bring my mom in for a short while and then leave her if we wanted to go on a vacation and come back. She was very informative, and I appreciate that.

We have chosen Edgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation for my mom because my grandfather used to be there two years ago and they treated him quite well. The staff and the nurses were very helpful, very kind, and very attentive to my grandpa. His studio room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. My grandpa ate pretty well, and the food was nutritious.

My aunt is at the Edgewood Health and Rehab. It's a beautiful place, very modern, and extremely clean. In fact, I probably would go there when I need to find a place. I think they are professional, friendly, and very thorough. I am completely satisfied with their service. I've seen them doing paintings, nature walks, and board games. I think they have a variety of things. They do physical therapy. She has been going to some kind of arts and crafts class too where they do beadwork. The rooms are very nice and fully equipped as well.
