"The Quarters Assisted Living was very favorable. It's convenient and closely located to my mother. It was clean and a nice facility. The man who toured me was excellent. He answered all of my questions, whether it was relevant or not. I was able to go and look at different parts of the facility, and I was pleased with what I found. The room was perfect for my aunt. They had an exercise room and nice grounds. If you wanted to take a walk and go out for fresh air, there were places to go out and sit and enjoy the sunshine. I think they have everything that my aunt would possibly need. They also provide transportation to take care of where she needed to go."

"The Emeritus at Ridgeland Pointe was very nice and they are like family there. The rooms that I saw were okay. I did not have lunch there, but they wanted me to come back and have lunch. The dining area was a large open space with tables and all. Just having that one visit, I'd have to say I had a very good impression of this place. It was just like a big happy family, so I think that was what stood out for this facility. "

"My mother is at The Blake at Township. My sister who lives in the area knew some family members who had been there and recommended it. We like the facilities and the layout of the residents' rooms. All of their bathrooms are equipped with grab bars and safety equipment for people with handicap or mobility issues. The dining area is very nice. The whole thing is set up to make the residents somewhat feel like they're in a resort. There's a menu, tablecloths and cloth napkins. They have a pretty busy activities program and a lot of it depends on what they're interested in. My mother is going to get in a Bridge club there, there's a wheelchair class, and they have a nice activities room. They'll sometimes go on excursions or trips to the drugstore or coffee shop."

"The Blake was closer to where we live and more convenient for us. It is a newer facility that is very nice, and we’ve been very pleased with it. The staff has been very helpful, and they serve three meals a day. I do not have any problems whatsoever. "

"I toured St. Catherine's Village. The person took a lot of time and was not as hurried as the person at the other facility. There were several things that I liked about it. There is a chapel there, so there was more of a religious focus, which was important to me. They're not as big as the other facility, but they have a full kitchen, a storage area, and closets that were even a bit more storage than the other facility. It was quite a bit more expensive. It's a buy-in. Instead of just having your meals included with the cost of moving in, it was on a point system, and the points could be saved. So, that was very appealing to me."

"My wife is only half a mile away from me in a facility called the Peach Tree Village. It has been completely renovated including special expenses that they went through to make sure that it would never flood again. The place is absolutely beautiful. I have been there several times just since the 1st of February. I've had lunch and supper with my wife there. The place is beautiful. It's well-staffed with very professional people and people that have years and years of experience. The current owners insist on not having anything but highly qualified experienced people, and that's very impressive for me. In terms of activities, my wife is playing bingo as we speak. When I went there on Saturday, I had to wait to see her because when I got there, she was in the activity center painting. They keep them very busy. They have a junior studio, and they have a deluxe studio. My wife is in the deluxe, which is a little bit larger. It's a very comfortable and very nice room. It has a very nice bathroom and shower facilities. The closet is a little bit small. They could have made the closets a little bit bigger, but that's okay. Other than that, the room is very good. We provided the furniture. The room is very close to the front entrance area. The food is excellent. At lunchtime, they have two selections, and you can choose which one you want. When I was there last Saturday, I had a shrimp po'boy sandwich, and the shrimp was excellent. They were prepared perfectly. The food could stand just a little bit of improvement, but they have a chef there. With regards to the value of money, compared to the other place, it's excellent."

"The workers at Madison Home Place looked like they were taking time with all the residents there. They were encouraging them. When I was there, they were taking them to dinner. They enjoy their jobs so that made it nice to see that they cared for the residents there. The place was really clean and I think it's fairly new, so I liked that. The residents seemed to be upbeat and happy. I liked seeing that also. The rooms were all private. They had a large activity room where they played music or had different activities, some were physical activities, and some were mental activities. It wasn't large, but it was still big enough for all of them to be in there to do their activities. The dining area seemed small, but they didn't have that many residents there, so they might not have needed a larger one."

"My aunt moved to Cooperwood Senior Living, and we like everything about it and the location. She has her little apartment. I like the service that they give to her. They help her bathe, help with medicine, and do all her house cleaning. It includes three meals a day. They have a snack bar where, anytime during the day, if they want a snack, they can go there and get it, and it has no charge. They've got a little craft area. They've got some P.T. room for that if anybody needs it, and they've got a little movie theater. It's beautiful. They've got water to look out at, and my aunt enjoys it when she sees ducks out there. The staff has been great. When we have questions, they have an answer for us, so we've been very happy with it so far. I've seen the food, and my aunt is a very picky eater and has been very happy with their food. My aunt would rather watch TV than go out and experience the activities, but they have a lot. They got their mailbox. They have a little mail room where they can get their mail."

"I am very pleased with the care that my mother is receiving. The facility is very nice and always clean. Sheila and the Staff in the Memory Care Unit are very kind and loving to the residents. You can tell that they care a about the residents by their actions and the way they communicate with the residents. "

"I wouldn't hesitate in going into Heritage House. I went there for a tour, and everybody was very pleasant. I met some of the people, and I also met the lady whose department we went into. They had an activities room. "
