The staff was very slow some of the beds didn’t work the place was noisy

This place is not welcoming and inviting for the elderly sick or otherwise. It’s drab and SMELLS. Poor lighting. The rooms looks like jail cells with cement block stone walls. NO central air. Old school window air conditioning. NO electronics for vital readings. Pen and paper to record vitals. Beds are small and not regulated hospital sized beds and some operate by a crank handle. NO sound control when activities are going on. Semi private rooms are SMALL. The entire experience was HORRIBLE for my uncle. We removed him from that place. It’s not fit. No proper sitting area such as a patio for outdoor time. Employees are there to collect a check. Those in charge get defensive when questions are asked or when issues are brought to their attention. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR LOVED ONE TO BE ADMITTED INTO THE PLACE.

We had a sister in this nursing home. They wouldn't even allow us to contact or see her. We were her next of kind. They wouldn't even give us any information about her condition. She passed and until this date we don't know what happened to her. Allegedly they were connected to some wrong doing with some other people. We don't even know how she got there. Never put your love one here.

The administration and staff are morons and arrogant. That is a dangerous combination. I want to give negative 5 stars for a rating but that was not an option! Three 2 nurses Kim and Ethel that are arrogant and mean and seem to view patients as an annoyance. There's an administrato, Reneassa or some other silly made up name that thinks she is the queen of everything. It's really sad that such ignorance can be rewarded. There are a couple of nice people there but I think if they say anything they would be fired.

Daughter who Cares about the care of her Mom

After working in the long term nursing care facilities, Chadwick is somewhat cleaner than most. The head nursing staff needs to be more compassionate towards the family and residents. My Mother gets a shower when it is convenient for them , not three times a week . They have forgotten her medication and it was brought to their attention . All they do is apologize. My Mom likes the food ok.

We're having a good experience at Chadwick Nursing & Rehab Center. Everyone seems friendly and caring. The ones that I deal with help me and keep me informed on what is going on there. I try to go by there daily. They let me know if there is something I need to address. I think the staff is what stands out the most. My mother has been there for about three months.
