"I have seen what several assisted living experiences are like and I must admit that Admiral Retirement Center is one of the best programs in Jackson. My grandmother is a current resident here, and I have never fully trusted one of these programs until now. She is definitely happier and seems to actually be improving to some extent. All of the staff is nice, even employees in non-clinical jobs. The facility is kept in immaculate condition and well stocked. I also love how they encourage social activities and really get everyone to participate and enjoy it. The only negative I could say about Admiral is the price. I know that peace of mind has no price, but it is rather expensive. I will say though, you get what you pay for. Thanks Admiral Retirement Center! "

"We liked Baptist Adult Day Health Serv N. Jackson. It was very good and the staff was very caring. We used them for one month until we moved my sister to a memory care. She enjoyed it. They had games, exercise, singing, and religious service every morning. It was wonderful."

"My sister is in Plain View Assisted Living. She is not your typical assisted living person in that her mind is pretty sound. They believe she's going to tell me things instead of them calling me. I would like to have more direct communication with them. The facility is nice. It's well laid out. It's a single floor, so that's nice. They have a living room where they do activities. They have an activity director, and do a couple of things, Monday through Friday. They also have people who come from offsite to do activities. It's very good food. They have a cook there. One of the things they struggled with sometimes was keeping a cook. It's one of the most affordable facilities around. They have a lot of turnover, but I believe it's because the ones that are moving on are not meeting the expectations of the management, so to speak. I've been pleased with it. My mother was there before she passed."

"My name is Flora G. and I am writing this review for my mother, Jessie M. K., who is a participant at your daycare. We have been pleased with the service received thus far. My mother was diagnosed with dementia several years ago and has difficulty with some short term memory and may not remember all activities but for the most part she enjoys herself at the center. The daycare has been very beneficial for us because it gives my mother a chance to participate in activities outside of our home. She is also able to communicate with other participants of the daycare. The employees are friendly and seem to love their chosen careers. "

"This lovely place has closed. I am next door to where they were formerly located and we still get some walk-in traffic looking for them. I will remove this review in the event that I hear it has re-opened. Our area is greatly lacking in services of this type."

My husband spends his days watching TV and napping. Then he doesn’t sleep well at night. We promised we’d always take care of each other, but it’s getting harder and harder. I worry about my mother when I’m at work, and she is home alone. Caregiving is wearing me out, and I don’t know where to turn for help.
