This lovely place has closed. I am next door to where they were formerly located and we still get some walk-in traffic looking for them. I will remove this review in the event that I hear it has re-opened. Our area is greatly lacking in services of this type.

Roiness Senior Day Retreat is a faith-based organization that focuses on our 3 principle areas of care: Spiritual, Physical and Cognitive Care. We're proud to provide a wonderful loving place: a comfortable, healthy and clean environment with helping hands all around. Our participants enjoy building relationships while socializing throughout the day. Mornings always begin with coffee time and, spirits are lifted during morning devotion and singing around the piano. We provide opportunities of enjoyment through arts and crafts, great nostalgic movies and stimulating games with a purpose. We also provide peace of mind through the caring, watchful eye of our staff nurse who maintains close connection with participants at all times. The staff nurse also leads participation in geriatric exercises and memory games that enhance the physical and cognitive abilities of our participants. WE OFFER: Adult Day Care - Senior Citizen Services Respite Care for the Caregiver Fun Games and Activities Arts and Crafts Care with A Purpose: Creating Care Packages - Helping others Medicinal Reminders Health and Wellness Emphasis Faith-Based Spiritual Enrichment We welcome participants with Stroke, Dementia, Visually Impaired, Hearing Impaired, ADA needs and more.

I've always enjoyed visiting the staff and participants of Roiness. The atmosphere is very uplifting and supportive, to even a guest or visitor.The great walls just seem to echo love and patience. The positive and encouraging words, smiles, and prayers are So genuine. I, hope you and your loved one takes a tour and make your own opinion of the Senior Day Retreat. I think you will be impressed by the forward thinking approach and the fellowship enjoyed amongst everyone from staff, guests, visitors, and participants. Roiness Senior Day Retreat is a wonderful ministry to senior adults with cognitive or physical challenges that has loving patient staff and being on campus at Crossgates United Methodist Church is such a wonderful plus. A great faith based organization!
