"We liked Baptist Adult Day Health Serv N. Jackson. It was very good and the staff was very caring. We used them for one month until we moved my sister to a memory care. She enjoyed it. They had games, exercise, singing, and religious service every morning. It was wonderful."

"I have seen what several assisted living experiences are like and I must admit that Admiral Retirement Center is one of the best programs in Jackson. My grandmother is a current resident here, and I have never fully trusted one of these programs until now. She is definitely happier and seems to actually be improving to some extent. All of the staff is nice, even employees in non-clinical jobs. The facility is kept in immaculate condition and well stocked. I also love how they encourage social activities and really get everyone to participate and enjoy it. The only negative I could say about Admiral is the price. I know that peace of mind has no price, but it is rather expensive. I will say though, you get what you pay for. Thanks Admiral Retirement Center! "

"The director/staff are very personable and have created such a warm and welcoming environment at OurTime. During my tour of the facility, I noticed how spacious it is and that it offers a setting where individual comfort needs and requirements can be accomodated. The level of cleanliness and organization of the facility is absolutely impeccable! The participants are all treated with the care, dignity and respect that our loved ones are so deserving of and are made to feel at home. The staff has a hands-on approach to their one-on-one interactions with the participants that adds to the warmth of the facility. The participants were encouraged to engage themselves in an activity or any one of the lively conversations that were going on at the time. The location is centered near downtown Jackson and only a short distance from the highway and major thoroughfares of the city, making it easily accessible. The director is professional, knowledgeable, and experienced caregiver. She answered all questions and concerns and truly understands the emotional side to having to place a loved one in someone else's care. "

"My sister is in Plain View Assisted Living. She is not your typical assisted living person in that her mind is pretty sound. They believe she's going to tell me things instead of them calling me. I would like to have more direct communication with them. The facility is nice. It's well laid out. It's a single floor, so that's nice. They have a living room where they do activities. They have an activity director, and do a couple of things, Monday through Friday. They also have people who come from offsite to do activities. It's very good food. They have a cook there. One of the things they struggled with sometimes was keeping a cook. It's one of the most affordable facilities around. They have a lot of turnover, but I believe it's because the ones that are moving on are not meeting the expectations of the management, so to speak. I've been pleased with it. My mother was there before she passed."
