My Mom was transferred from St. Dominick's Hospital to the Nichols Center on January 10, 2023, to the rehabilitation wing and when it became necessary, she was transferred to the long-term care wing. she remained there until she passed on April 10, 2023. During her stay, she was given the utmost care and treated by staff as if she was family. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very attentive, professional, and kept me informed of any issues. Mom was comfortable to the end, and I am forever indebted to the Nichols staff. I would recommend Nichols to anyone who's seeking care for a loved one.

Private rooms, and my dad likes the fried shrimp & fish the best! Staff make you feel like your home!!

The Nursing Staff and Aides were very helpful. Took good care of my Dad. Dad enjoyed playing Bingo and other activities when his medicine wasn't to heavy. It took us a while to get that fixed. Food was okay Dad seemed to like Breakfast the most. Sometimes communication between Pt staff and Patient family can be improved along with discharge responsibilities for the family put in writing rather than just verbally communicated . In our case we needed several things to be set up at home. Overall his stay was great even through Holidays.

My dad was here only one week. I would not recommend to any families with elder family members Staff is over worked Staff is not trained to help. My dad suffered at their expense

My mother was at The Nichols Center for rehab. It was fair, the staff was helpful. The room looked fine. She had full physical therapy there. They can improve on updating the family member on the progress done by the person in rehab.

My mother has been staying at The Nichols Center since November 2017. It's clean, well kept, friendly, and small with only six beds. It has more intimate care. The staff members are very attentive to my mother's needs and very helpful to me as well. The food is substantial and of good quality, good temperature, and good quantity.
