"The staff is wonderful. They are very attentive and involved with the residents. There is an entertainer every afternoon. The owner is often walking around the place with his dog. He is very approachable and visible. The nursing staff is caring and gentle. I don’t worry about my family member because I know he is safe and well cared for at The Oasis."

"After a 94- year run, our mother passed after a life well lived. She left behind a great legacy and loving family of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Like many in her situation, the last several years of her life included health challenges, an inevitable decline and the necessity of finding a nursing facility to attend to her needs. Living in Boston/Metro-West, there existed an array of nursing and residential choices. After an extensive process of exploration and vetting the family agreed that Belmont Manor would be the optimal choice. We have been so pleased with our selection. The second-generation family ownership, which actively manages Belmont Manor, consistently conveyed a feeling of genuine care and concern for our mother’s well-being, and that of her fellow residents. The experienced staff (including many loyal, veteran team members) were knowledgeable, and eager to update us in person or by phone. What stood out was the caring staff who supported her as her health declined and how they cared for her with such dignity and respect. Visiting with her downstairs in one of the many comfortable indoor or outdoor seating areas always felt warm and comforting. Indeed, our visits always brought offerings of heat lamps, warm blankets, and bottled water! When our mother’s health declined and visits became more frequently upstairs in or near her room, we were always greeted with a smile and update at the nurse’ station. Often, our mother would be seated near the nurses’ station at a key corridor intersection. Greeting and interacting with other residents and passers-by kept her going and provided her with an incredible sense of purpose! Many of our visits ran into mealtime and to see the carefully prepared meals, hot table servings, and accompanying entertainment, crafts, and socialization offered in the community activity/dining room reassured us that Mom’s every need was met. As our mother’s dietary and care needs became more pronounced, the team smoothly transitioned to the next stage. Belmont Manor’s integration with hospice in her final months enabled additional support not only for Mom, but for our family, as well. We will always be so grateful for the outstanding care, comfort, attention, and respect that Belmont Manor offered Mom throughout her years-long stay. Belmont Manor ownership/management and their amazing staff provided Mom with such a wonderful home and her family with the ongoing reassurance that she was so well cared for and loved. A Very Appreciative Family"

"My brother has attended the Blaire House Adult Day Health program for many years. I can't emphasize enough the program benefits and wonderfully supportive staff. From an inviting entrance with a fish pond to an attractive waiting area efficiency and caring are evident. The meals and snacks are healthy and delicious. Transportation is well managed and dependable. The activities with games, exercise and music are fun and engaging. The program has meant increased stimulation, socialization and care as my brother ages. Our family is thrilled that my brother's quality of life has been greatly enhanced thanks to Blaire House!"

"My dad is now in Milford Center. We were quite impressed when he went in for a rehab and eventually went to long-term care. The facility is very homey. He is in a shared room and a cable already hooked up for you, though you have to bring your own TV. The staff are exceptional. They are very intuitive, attentive and they're on top of any situation. I'm very satisfied with how they take care of my dad. He seems very happy and I would recommend this facility. "

"My brother has moved to long-term care at Countryside Health Care of Milford. It has been excellent. The staff has been great. They are very helpful. I'm very happy with the rooms as well. The common areas are great. The cleanliness and maintenance are excellent. We have been very happy with the experience, the care, and the concern. He was at Countryside for rehab, and we were happy with it. A long-term care opened up, so we were very happy to make the move right where he was."

"My experience with this facility began in January 2009. My Mother had been in another facility, went to a hospital, and needed to go back to a nursing home for rehabilitation. I was not happy with the previous facility, so my husband and I visited some other places. From the moment we walked into the Timothy Daniels House, we knew this was the place for my Mother. We were greeted as if we were old friends, and given a tour. It was a bright and cheerful place. There were women patients sitting in the dining room visiting with each other as if they were in their own home. It is a small place, so each client receives special care. The staff, from nurses to aids, to kitchen help were all top notch. The office staff were also very helpful whenever I needed help. It turned out that my Mother was never able to leave, as her health started to decline. But, the staff was there every minute for us. They treated us likey family. When we knew it wouldn't be long until my Mother passed away, I decided to stay there until she died. They got a bed for me, meals, and treated me so very well. They brought my step Father a meal every evening that she was there.I recently was asked by a friend about Timothy Daniels, and she decided to try it for her Mother. They are very happy with their choice. "

"My mom is in a long-term care facility in Ashland called Waterview Lodge Llc, Rehabilitation & Healthcare. The place is clean and the staff seems to be very caring and friendly. They're taking care of her needs. She has her own room although the room is set up to handle two people. So far, it's been good."

"My husband is at Lydia Taft House. I was impressed with it. It was a home-like atmosphere, and I think there are only 53 beds in it, unlike other ones that had 180 beds and are chaos with multiple people in the hallways. Lydia Taft House is under control. The people are out of their rooms, and they have programs for them. People can play cards, and they have other games that they play. It looks like they keep people active. My husband's room is very sunny and very warm. It has a very big, beautiful picture window that overlooks the backyard. They have a bird feeder, and he loves to watch the birds. The staff seems very attentive. I have been there five or six times now. I never smelled urine, and that is good. That is my criteria."

"My Dad spent several months at St. Camillus Health Center and, personally, I can't say enough about the facility, staff and administration. Everyone was just fabulous, from the friendly "Hello girls" greeting we received every visit from Dianne to the caring thoughts, hugs and prayers from Shirley, Lori, Kristen and everyone who cared for him. Dad's stay was nothing less than top notch! Regretfully we lost him on the 5th of July but his journey was made easier by all the staff in his neighborhood. My family can't thank them enough and when we count our blessings at the end of the day, they will always be on the list. Warmest regards and bless you all. You are certainly angels on earth. "Ballou Home does not have a locked unit for dementia, so they couldn’t take my aunt. It was a beautiful facility, so it is unfortunate that they do not cater to dementia patients. It was small, quaint, clean, and neat. The staff was wonderful, but they couldn’t accommodate what we needed for our aunt. "

"Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Centre is a 5 because of the quality of their nursing and CNA staff. The atmosphere was very calm and bright. As a family member, it is comforting to see my family member staying there, knowing that she is getting great care and that she is more active and happier. The rooms are larger, and there is privacy for each patient, but they can interact. It is more like her own apartment, and the room feels welcoming. The staff is great. We can ask for just about anything, and they are more than willing to do whatever we ask. We had an excellent meal there. I met with the dietitian and the kitchen staff and went over my aunt’s needs, and they were able to accommodate her. Their activities are great. They paint the patients’ nails, have students visit who are learning to be CNAs and they interact with them, play bingo, do crafts, and sing songs. "

"My mom just randomly chose The Friendly Home Inc. We were lucky it was a very nice place. The staff were incredibly cooperative and friendly. Everything I needed, they took care of. My mom loved the food most of the time. I even enjoyed my visits there. I also talked to the residents who were there for a long time and they were all happy there. I lived far from Rhode Island and I was happy I did not have to worry about her. She was just really happy there. "

"I found Bethany Health Care Center for my friend, and she has moved in. We chose it because of the caring nature of the nursing and ancillary staff, as well as the unit that she is on. It's a locked unit, which is what she needs. They are very clean. It is a positive atmosphere because of the staff. They keep her busy with music and word search activities. They have different discussions during the day. They have exercise. There is a Namaste room, if she needs it. The food is very good."

"The staff, nurses and nurse's AIDS are awesome. They were all there anytime I needed anything. The weekend staff could use a little work as far as knowing what is going on but otherwise I was very pleased with the quality of my stay. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality service."

"My husband is in St. Antoine Residence in the rehab area. They're giving him OT and PT because he got very, very sick. The staff members are wonderful. I can't say a bad word about a single person, whether it's a person giving out meds or the person delivering the meals, or getting them dressed or any of that. They're all wonderful. They truly come to work and they love what they're doing. All their rooms used to be doubles and now they are all singles, so it's easy to have company. That's a plus, and it's nice. It's not like going to a hotel or anything, but they've got a bed, a recliner, and a table that goes with the bed for eating. They have a TV. They've got a telephone, but my husband doesn't use telephones. They have everything. If they need anything, there's a little kitchen area where I can go get him an extra drink or something like that if he needs it. The food is pretty good. If ever there's something that you don't like, you can always get a salad, chicken, or something else. They have come in and encouragee him for activities, but he is still recovering from the pneumonia."

"There's been a change in staff at the westborough healthcare and I have to tell you it's the most amazing thing I've ever seen. The vibe went from bla to woohoo. My dad is now very well taken care of I'm a very hypercritical person and I have to say I feel confident that he's okay. I couldn't say that prior to now but the new staff and all of the therapy people and the social workers and the new admin are just great. They actually care about your people. Food is great therapy is awesome nurses really know their stuff. Would recommend this facility"
