Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Centre is a 5 because of the quality of their nursing and CNA staff. The atmosphere was very calm and bright. As a family member, it is comforting to see my family member staying there, knowing that she is getting great care and that she is more active and happier. The rooms are larger, and there is privacy for each patient, but they can interact. It is more like her own apartment, and the room feels welcoming. The staff is great. We can ask for just about anything, and they are more than willing to do whatever we ask. We had an excellent meal there. I met with the dietitian and the kitchen staff and went over my aunt’s needs, and they were able to accommodate her. Their activities are great. They paint the patients’ nails, have students visit who are learning to be CNAs and they interact with them, play bingo, do crafts, and sing songs.
