My Dad spent several months at St. Camillus Health Center and, personally, I can't say enough about the facility, staff and administration. Everyone was just fabulous, from the friendly "Hello girls" greeting we received every visit from Dianne to the caring thoughts, hugs and prayers from Shirley, Lori, Kristen and everyone who cared for him. Dad's stay was nothing less than top notch! Regretfully we lost him on the 5th of July but his journey was made easier by all the staff in his neighborhood. My family can't thank them enough and when we count our blessings at the end of the day, they will always be on the list. Warmest regards and bless you all. You are certainly angels on earth. This is not a place I would choose for my love one to stay nor myself.it is almost always under staffed in the nursing department it always under staffed in the house keeping staff and sometimes under staffed in the food department. The are so many falls with residents because of the under staffing the residents do not get quality of care that they need and there are many safety issues concerning the quality of care there is never enough staff residents wait long hours to go to the bathroom sometimes the don’t get there once a week showers do to understaffing as well. There are many skin tears on residents and the 11 Pm to 7 am shift does only one set of rounds so they residents are soaking in urine for hours. There is no communication for nurses to cna as far report so cna are not informed about how to take care of residents The facility itself is run down the plastics on the side rails is broken, the rooms are very tiny, unclean and unsanitary the showers rooms are not clean they are filthy. do to under staffing. There are more agency working there than the there actual trained employees that work there cause it is so understaffed almost always. Residents wait long periods to get there food cause of under staffing or to be fed..

St Camillus was good. The staff was okay, pleasant, kind, and helped me when I needed help. They responded quickly, too.

Real nice facility. The majority of the CNA's are exceptional, some need more training, but for the most part the staff in great!! The facility itself is clean(always), and in a nice country setting. I have found the facility to not really understand the complications and care associated with Alzheimer's /dimentia. There is a social worker there that really needs to either find some bed side manner/compassion or find a new career. Ironically, the lower paid staff members are more caring and understanding than the higher paid staff members. I feel confident that my mother is getting the best care possible here, she is safe.
