"Care Meridian was the only facility that can accommodate my brother who was on life support. The facility was kind of outdated. But I liked that they have a nice large room where the family can congregate, and play area for children. I did like that the rooms can accommodate the different ages. The bedroom was totally different from a medical room. I suggest they update their facility if possible. The staff were accomodating all the way through. They exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this place to other people. "

"I really liked Golden Living Center - Fresno. It's pretty nice. The room for Alzheimer's was upstairs and completely locked down, so my grandmother won't be able to get out, which I really liked. They had a garden area where she could go out and be with the other residents. The rooms were OK, pretty decent, big, and clean. They had an entertainment area and a pretty nice lunch room."

"I went to Heritage Crossing, and for some reason I couldn't put my husband in there, and the cost was $300 a day. They were very professional, very nice, and very helpful. If he was able to stay there, I would've found a way to get them the $300 a day. He's been a client of Valley Regional Care and Heritage Crossing is part of it. When a call comes in regarding the hospice, it shows Heritage Crossing on my caller ID. They've been very helpful. I met with the staff and we had a long conversation, which was very helpful for me. She made me feel very comfortable. The surrounding was really nice. It was really pretty there, and it was a good location. It looked immaculate from the area that I was in."

"STAFF WAS CARING, COMPASSIONATE, ATTENTIVE AND PROFESSIONAL. EVERYONE WAS WILLING TO ASSIST EVEN IF THEY WERE NOT ASSIGNED TO YOU. ON A SCALE OF 1-10 I RATE THE FOOD 7.5---- DECOR COULD USE IMPROVEMENT, OTHERWISE I HAD A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE AND GLAD TO HAVE THEM THROUGH MY JOURNEY TO RECOVERY."

"We ended up choosing to Golden Living Center for my friend mainly because of its location as it was near the place where her family lived. It was all adequate. It had a dining area with round tables where they had dinner together. They had posted menus, so there were some choices but not a lot. They had a lot of activities for the residents like bingo, birthday parties, events for the month and things during Christmas. Everything was well kept, and it was located in a nice neighborhood. The staff was very friendly and great. "

"My father ended up at Orchard Post Acute. The people were very caring. They took good care of the patients that were there. It's a skilled facility. It's not someplace you could stay at, but it was a good one. They really tried very hard with my dad. He came in with a lot of issues. Anything that happened to him, anything that needed attention, the nurse called immediately. Getting through to any of the directors and others in charge sometimes would take two or three calls, which I kind of understand because they got other things to do other than just spend time with the patient's family. He had physical therapy and that was about it. You get your money's worth."

"We have already placed my mom at Sierra Vista. The hospital helped me locate it. We went to visit it and decided to place her there. When we first entered into the facility, it smelled very clean. You could smell food cooking, and people were clean when we walked in. They seemed very happy. It is a small facility. The staff members are always smiling and very helpful. People are very friendly there. We are very lucky. The dining room is very small. The facility is very small. Some of their beds are for short-term, and some are for long-term care. Regarding activities, they have bingo and arts and crafts. They have somebody that comes in and cuts their fingernails and hair. They have a physical therapist and a doctor on-call. With regards to security and safety feature of this facility, the doors are locked after certain times, it is fenced in, and it is very clean and well kept. "

"My sister in law was Pacific Gardens after a triple bypass for rehab. Everybody on staff was wonderful. They all worked with her, and they did whatever it took to get something out of her. The rooms were big with two beds. "

"Twilight Haven was quiet and I liked that it was safe. The staff was good. The facilities were clean. It's a little older facility."

"I placed my grandma at Golden Livingcenter while she was still living, and the care she received was great. The facility is kind of an old building and kind of run down as far as the way the environment looks, but it was more of the care that I cared about. There were activities, but my grandma was not in the position to participate in them. They had a hair lady come in every other week to do their hair, and my grandma had that one. That is very convenient that they have a beautician come in. "

"I'm here at the Vineyards - California Armenian Home for independent living. It is absolutely wonderful. This is like heaven. This is a five-star facility here. The staff members are very nice, very friendly, very helpful, and accommodating to everybody. I have an apartment that's got a full kitchen, a full bedroom, and a full bathroom. It's all set up. It's got crown moldings in it. They offer food here. They have special dining if you like prime rib, lobster, and filet mignon. All that stuff they have up there for you. Mostly the residents that eat up there are independent living. For activities, they have a full gym. They have bingo, poker, and blackjack. They have everything here for everybody. The food is a five. It's like eating on a cruise ship. It is absolutely the best. The place is the cleanest I've ever seen. It's got beautiful grounds. It's the best value you can get for your money."

"We visited California Armenian Home for my mother. It looked very nice. It seemed like they have good management. Clients who live there seemed satisfied and contented. It seemed like they're receiving good service. I think it would have been a nice place to place my mother, but she elected to stay at home. Otherwise it would have been a good selection the way the facility is operated. The room was very clean. The room where they have the eating facilities looked very clean and attractive. The facility is somewhat dated; it is not a new facility. It is not really pristine in terms of the latest and greatest in room arrangements and the facilities that folk would be living in, but otherwise, the management was good, and it was clean. "

"Sunnyside was fine and very clean. It has everything that I think my dad will need, and the staff was friendly. They gave me a tour and were very helpful. They were having Halloween party during my visit. They do things during the day and take them places. They had a good menu, but provided other food items in case the resident doesn't want what’s on the menu. The food smells good. "
