"Care Meridian was the only facility that can accommodate my brother who was on life support. The facility was kind of outdated. But I liked that they have a nice large room where the family can congregate, and play area for children. I did like that the rooms can accommodate the different ages. The bedroom was totally different from a medical room. I suggest they update their facility if possible. The staff were accomodating all the way through. They exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this place to other people. "

"Golden Living Center in Fresno has a Five-Star Medicare rating for a reason. The facility is clean and nurtures a culture of innovation. They have a specialized program for congestive heart failure patients and their registered nurses are ACLS certified. This was the first time that I have encountered a skilled nursing facility that has profoundly elevated the standards of care. In addition, I also met the facility's executive director, Ms. Walters, whose door is always open to patients and staff members. I would recommend this skilled nursing facility to any family member who is seeking compassionate and competent nursing care. This facility is definitely a role model in the healthcare community. "

"I went to Heritage Crossing, and for some reason I couldn't put my husband in there, and the cost was $300 a day. They were very professional, very nice, and very helpful. If he was able to stay there, I would've found a way to get them the $300 a day. He's been a client of Valley Regional Care and Heritage Crossing is part of it. When a call comes in regarding the hospice, it shows Heritage Crossing on my caller ID. They've been very helpful. I met with the staff and we had a long conversation, which was very helpful for me. She made me feel very comfortable. The surrounding was really nice. It was really pretty there, and it was a good location. It looked immaculate from the area that I was in."

"Our family recently went through a very traumatic time with the loss of our grandpa and subsequent need for skilled nursing/rehab for our grandmother. We made the difficult choice to place our grandmother in skilled nursing after a bad infection and surgery that didn't go well. It was an especially difficult decision to place her with everything going on with COVID-19. I want to say unequivocally, that the care and compassion received from every individual at Willow Creek Healthcare from the CNAs, rehab personnel, admissions staff and directors, was far and above any expectation we had. They knew about the prior difficulties our family had recently had and they treated our grandmother with the utmost compassion and respect. It was so meaningful to us because we were unable to physically see her. It wasn't just the compassion that was wonderful, the actual care she received was amazing. She went into the facility unable to bear weight after a bad infection and surgery. Upon discharge, she was walking over 100 feet and her progress has continued to improve after discharge. We received updates everyday from her nurses and from the rehab director. They called us with updates on her vitals, progress with walking, etc. Not one time, did we have to check in for an update and that was so appreciated. This staff really went above and beyond and I could not be more thankful for everything they did. No skilled nursing facility is perfect, but this experience was as close as you could get. I would highly recommend Willow Creek Healthcare if you are making the difficult decision to place a loved one, either temporarily or long-term. They will be well taken care of. "I’m more pleased now that dad is at Golden Livingcenter. He’s been there for about two months. I don't have any problems with them. I’m happy with all of the nursing care that they give, and the quality of the nurse’s aides. They call me whenever there’s a problem. My dad is on a pureed diet, and the dietary department has been accomodating. "

"My father ended up at Orchard Post Acute. The people were very caring. They took good care of the patients that were there. It's a skilled facility. It's not someplace you could stay at, but it was a good one. They really tried very hard with my dad. He came in with a lot of issues. Anything that happened to him, anything that needed attention, the nurse called immediately. Getting through to any of the directors and others in charge sometimes would take two or three calls, which I kind of understand because they got other things to do other than just spend time with the patient's family. He had physical therapy and that was about it. You get your money's worth."

"My father, Ted Robert W, arrived with his big cowboy hat and of course a little anxiety. His 6 children were nervous for him as this was his new home.. The staff soon put us all at ease and went out of their way to make him feel comfortable. Our family was very hands on and at the facility a great deal of time. This meant the poor staff not only had to cater to Dads needs but to ours as well. They were amazing!!! I am thankful for these dedicated, and professional fun employees. Keep up the good work. I will miss you and many of the clients you serve. You have very difficult jobs and do a wonderful service for our community. Thank you all"

"My sister has been at Pacific Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation for almost 2 years now. They work with me, and they do the best they can with the meals. They have singers come in, and they bring them out into this one big living room. At Christmas time, they'll have people come in and do Santa. They used to have somebody come in as a beautician for the ladies, but they don't have that anymore because of Covid. If you can't afford to be in there, they take Medicaid."

"Twilight Haven's director, Crystal, was very helpful in the process. She helped me go through the steps. I needed to know it was possible to get my uncle in there. She made me aware of a form that I could have his doctor sign to be able to get him in the facility which started our process. He will be moving into their assisted living this month. During my visit, I would describe the staff as very friendly and dedicated to their patients or the seniors. The facilities and amenities could be a little updated but they have a salon and a courtyard. They also have a place for events. The facility is conveniently located in between the family, it's in the middle of where all our family lives. It's quite near shopping centers too."

"I placed my grandma at Golden Livingcenter while she was still living, and the care she received was great. The facility is kind of an old building and kind of run down as far as the way the environment looks, but it was more of the care that I cared about. There were activities, but my grandma was not in the position to participate in them. They had a hair lady come in every other week to do their hair, and my grandma had that one. That is very convenient that they have a beautician come in. "

"My brother was in hospice care at The Vineyard California Armenian Home. Everything they did was very thorough. The people were very friendly and caring, which I take to heart. Anything we needed, they were right there to help us. The whole area was set up for the comfort of the patients and the visitors. They had gaming areas and entertainment. There were all kinds of things. My brother was in a typical hospital room that was private. It had all the facilities that we needed. The interaction with the staff was very good. The meals were excellent, too. I saw people playing in the card areas. The communication between the staff and the patients was really good. They have apartments, rooms, and condo homes where you can live with your families. It's a gated community and it's very safe. I found it to be very accommodating in every way."

"The Vineyards at The California Armenian Home (Formerly California Home For The Aged) is very well lit, very well taken care of, and it's pretty much brand new. My experience has been great. The staff is great. If I ask a question, they tell me what I should do. They guided me through the process. They keep my wife busy, keep her occupied, and keep her challenged. They have all sorts of activities from cards to activities that challenge your memory, to socialization, to music, to concerts, and to outdoor visitations. She has a private room with a shared bathroom. They're probably the best value price wise."

"Sunnyside was fine and very clean. It has everything that I think my dad will need, and the staff was friendly. They gave me a tour and were very helpful. They were having Halloween party during my visit. They do things during the day and take them places. They had a good menu, but provided other food items in case the resident doesn't want what’s on the menu. The food smells good. "
