"San Joaquin Gardens is an outstanding facility, with superior quality customer service. The staff really cares for its clientele. A few of the amenities include fitness center and spa, library, beauty salon, and multiple dining facilities. There is even a happy hour time at one of the fine dining restaurants. The living space my grandmother resides in is new, comfortable, and spacious. The last time I visited my grandmother, I attended one of the community's town hall meetings. It was nice to see how it was run by the residents. The new residents were interviewed by others, and their stories were told to the crowd. New business, finances, etc. was also discussed. The community appeared very tight knit. "

"We think The Terraces was just too expensive for us. It's a very upper class place. They had lots of facilities for the people, and they even have residences there that can be bought. They have separate housings. They have the different levels of care. They have a lot of travel stuff, a lot of entertainment, and a gym. They have speakers come in. They have music, trips. They have amenities, happy hour, and things like that. The staff was absolutely friendly. They are continually inviting us to come there and have meals. They're wide open and happy to show anybody what they have. I like that it doesn't stink. It seems a little bit more like a resort than a home, but it's more than we want to afford. We've eaten there before. They were excellent. "

"We went to Palm Village Retirement Community, but because of COVID, and because it's a nursing facility, the restrictions are a little different. And so we could only go into an empty part of the facility just to see the rooms, and the rooms are glorious and huge. It was a double bedroom, but there's plenty of room and built-in cupboards, and the bathroom is spacious. But it's a skilled nursing facility, so the shower room is separate. But it's lovely. The staff that we met were very pleasant and knowledgeable, we also met the activities director. The room that we saw was exceedingly spacious and well-appointed, with built-in cupboards and closets. There's a bedside stand near the bed, and there wasn't an independent dresser because it's all built-in. And the bathrooms were lovely, and they're big with grab bars. They're a 3-level of care village, so they have a salon, a library, and a chapel. The place was clean, large, and spacious. "
