I'm a grandchild of a resident who started in independent living before moving to assisted living and now the memory wing. While Jefferson's Ferry is undeniably expensive, my family love the nurses and think that the medical care there is good. There's a wood shop, movie theater, pool, weight room, library, and an activities schedule. They have a banquet-brunch every Sunday. My grandparent had a two-bedroom apartment that was perfectly sized for one person, updated, and clean, with everything you'd find in a "real" apartment. She was moved to a smaller room in the memory wing, which feels more like a carpeted hospital than a home, which is perhaps just how nursing homes are. The food has been good, and not just good for a nursing home. My grandma is alone in her room during the pandemic. They play classical music in the room and seem to pay her attention, though probably not enough as is common in settings with several patients. When we call to talk to or about her, staff is responsive and patient. I've visited many nursing homes throughout the country, and this is definitely one of the best I've seen.

We went to Jefferson's Ferry. It was beautiful, great, clean, but it was just too much money. It was a very pleasant place. They were good, we didn't have any complaints, and we did not have any issues. They had an activity night and bingo. It was modern, homey, and the apartments were nice and roomy.

They increase the monthly fee each year so after 8 years there mother is paying $60,000 a year for independent living. The main building for independent living isn't well made and her apartment has had so many leaks she will be moving to another apartment in that building. Once when she fell the emergency alert button didn't go off and once the elevator doors crushed her leaving a broken rib. While this facility has many good points there are also problems and it is very expensive.

Jefferson’s Ferry was nice. I have no problem living in any of those. The apartments were nice, and it’s what we need. They have some cottages that were also very nice.

Jefferson's Ferry was very nice, and very accommodating; but they're just on the expensive side to buy in; that's just for a 1-bedroom unit. The amenities were very good. You also pay $3,000 monthly for your maintenance, food, and things like that. The dining area was lovely, and they fed us during the tour; but it's the Cadillac of senior homes, and I think it's overpriced. They have quite a few activities, and they have services like taking you to the doctor's appointment. It's right near a major medical center, and there's a lot of very good shopping places in the area.

Jefferson's Ferry was a wonderful and gorgeous place. The main building and healthcare were incredible. It had anything anybody could possibly want, but I'm not old and feeble enough for that place. I wanted a cottage as opposed to an apartment, and they didn't have too many available. There was a lot of traffic and parking areas. It was very urban, and I don't like the city; I like the country, but it was a happy and beautiful place. The staff seemed wonderful, very friendly, caring, and accommodating. The people all looked very happy. There was a beautiful dining room, little stores, and activities. I highly recommend it to anybody who really needs the care, but it's very expensive.

Jefferson’s Ferry was very good. The rooms were very nice, spacious, and clean. They have a pool, a laundry shop, a library, movies, bingo, and games. Their continuity of care was what I liked the most.

Jefferson’s Ferry was as good as the other community I visited. The dining room was fabulous and they have a Sunday brunch that is amazing. They have a little snack bar, a little store, and they have a bus to take you to the local supermarket.

Jefferson's Ferry was very nice but I can't afford it. It is way too expensive. The rooms were a little small but very clean. The staff seemed alright.

Jefferson's Ferry was wonderful. Everything there was great. They have beautiful grounds. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend them. They have the best nursing facility.
