We placed my dad in The New Beginnings. The facility is small, but the staff is very attentive and wonderful. They also have a good staff to resident ratio. They also have a very good chef who cooks tremendous food for the residents. I also liked the family atmosphere. It's a modest place without a lot of outdoor places to go, but they can improve on that. The location is great and it's convenient to where we live, and we're very pleased with that. My dad's a veteran, and they're offering a veteran's discount. The pricing is right in the budget so that was another big factor in deciding to move him in there.

Do NOT entrust that your loved one will be well-cared for here. This does not mean that there are individuals who don't care - the cook was very kind - but she didn't have organic farm-to-table food to cook (before the pandemic!) - weiners and frozen onion rings, gravy out of a jar, runny corn, nothing I wanted my mom eating. Staff were generally 1 or 2 max in number, or you couldn't find them at all, and they will tell you there are cameras and staff are watching the doors on their phones...that's laughable. As for transportation for the resident, not happening. Security? - non-existent. Staff are not trained to do much more than deliver a meal - and as for the imaginary doctor who makes rounds there? Yes - just like everything else, non-existent. In summary - run away, fast. Your loved one's life depends on it, and so does your sanity. It's a huge expense for nothing.

I liked that The New Beginnings Senior Living didn't have too many residents. The max they had was 15 residents at a time. There was pretty detailed caring as far as each individual is concerned. It's pretty intimate, very clean, very homey, and very comfortable looking. I liked the idea that the rooms were individual, not shared. There were bathrooms in each room and they're allowed to use their own furniture. I liked the way that the kitchen staff provided each meal for each resident. The staff was very friendly. They were planning on getting a vehicle to take the residents out.

Overall facility was very good with a home like atmosphere. I am currently in nursing school and would recommend this to my fellow students and families as well.

What an incredibly cozy and homey place. A home away from home! The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Smiling faces all the way through from the residents and the staff. Booking myself twenty years from now. Spoke with the residents. Thumbs up!

I recently toured this nice new facility and liked what I saw. There is still a way to go before it "grows up" but it is a really nice place with nice staff members. It really only needs for the trees and other plantings to grow and blossom. The rooms are very nice and nicely furnished, includes a flat screen TV and telephones. My favorite place however was the dining area. Nice, bistro feel to it.
