"When we started using Nursefinders in 2008, they were quite reliable. Unfortunately, this is not now the case. They were acquired by a larger company over a year ago and their quality if caregivers and staffing assistance has suffered greatly, as has care for my disabled sister. Morale of our story is that "bigger" and name recognition do synonymous with quality care. Be prepared to periodically change caregivers to maintan quality care and always keep current with local ratings. We are interviewing a small locally-owned agency this week which we believe will better meet our needs. "

"The therapists and nurse than come in our home every week are outstanding in their professional instructions and also in their motivational abilities. They raise the standards always but allow for times of weakness and weariness. My husband went from being on Hospice (with their facility) to such improvement that he just got back from riding his recumbant bike! This improvement occurred from Dec. 5 till now, April 5. Thank the Lord. Now if I can get myself together as his only caregiver..... "

"The absolutely worst service I have ever experienced. No personnel, takes contracts to take care of people but they don’t. I am fresh out of a 10.5 hour surgery, need the help, arrangements where made by the VA hospital, I have seen a nurse once only, them knowing I need PT, OT, and professional nurse services. I fired them, now looking for another agency. Do not recommend. I’m a Paramedic and can survive until the next"

"I'm not happy with Legacy Home Health. They provide hospice care for my dad. We had to change nurses because one of their nurses made some comments about our family that were not appropriate. It was sad. She's a registered nurse, but she keeps telling my mom, "This is his last week," or "He is going to die this week." Obviously he didn't die, but it was a life sentence for my mom. It was difficult. When you open your house and you are like family to these people, you expect them to show kindness, compassion, or empathy; you're not supposed to be waiting for them to tell you, "Oh yeah, he is going to die next week or this week." The billing and scheduling is another thing that we're having trouble with. Additionally, the person that was supposed to help my mom give my dad a shower was not very reliable, so I have been doing that for the past three days. They said they are going to send somebody else, but they haven't. I don't mind going and doing it, but that's the whole reason why I'm counting on them, so that I can plan my day."
