I'm not happy with Legacy Home Health. They provide hospice care for my dad. We had to change nurses because one of their nurses made some comments about our family that were not appropriate. It was sad. She's a registered nurse, but she keeps telling my mom, "This is his last week," or "He is going to die this week." Obviously he didn't die, but it was a life sentence for my mom. It was difficult. When you open your house and you are like family to these people, you expect them to show kindness, compassion, or empathy; you're not supposed to be waiting for them to tell you, "Oh yeah, he is going to die next week or this week." The billing and scheduling is another thing that we're having trouble with. Additionally, the person that was supposed to help my mom give my dad a shower was not very reliable, so I have been doing that for the past three days. They said they are going to send somebody else, but they haven't. I don't mind going and doing it, but that's the whole reason why I'm counting on them, so that I can plan my day.
