"SunRidge at Cambria is nice and clean, and people seemed to be well attended. My grandmother is getting 3 meals a day and medications there. It's perfect, it's a beautiful place, and she has all the basic things to use. My dad and I are happy with it. There are several hospitals in the area, wound care centers, and several Walgreens. "

"It had great amenities. It was nice. The facility was spotless and beautiful. It was just gorgeous. The staff was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and willing to help. I was very pleased with them. They have common areas for people to kind of hang out with their family members and even activities and stuff like that. They do rehab there as well so they have a place where they could do physical therapy with them. The building itself was just new, clean, and beautiful."

"My Mom is a resident at Bienvivir now. That place is beautiful , clean, and quite honestly a God send. My mom is very happy there! She talks really well about everyone there especially how they address the elderly there and how they react and respond to their not so good behavior at times. My mom can tend to get a little snappy and sassy - my sisters and I are still learning to cope with that lol! but my mom never fails to tell us how the staff always addresses her with love, and affection and compassion and most importantly patience. She is extremely happy there and I just want to thank Bienvivir and all of the staff there for doing such an outstanding job! You are all so very professional and kind and I could never thank you enough for everything that you do for my mom. The Doctor and the nurses are wonderful and caring and attentive! I really don' know what we would do without you. My sisters and I know my mom is in good hands when she is at Bienvivir - we don't have to worry about her when she is there. Bienvivir communicates with me about every concern that is in regards to mom and I am just enamored by them all. Keep doing what you are doing! You are a blessing to all of us. "

"I have taken a home at The Forest Assisted Living. I love the people. The people are great, and the care is good. It's not a beautiful, fancy place, but it's clean and nice. The food is excellent. The staff is very good and very professional."

"My mother-in-law is in Voiland Adult Foster Care. It is a very small facility of 6 people. It's a home and it's personal. The caregivers are very good. They can come and go anytime between 10 am and 7 pm. They have doctors that come in. My mother-in-law is happy there, and she likes her meals. The facility is extremely clean and it has lots of space. It is very aesthetically pleasing. Right now, it's decorated for the holidays. They have a living room where they can go and socialize. Most of the residents are for memory care. I see them mostly visiting with each other. Two of the residents were able to bring their small pets with them."

"We liked the outer exterior of the Sunshine Home assisted living facility as we drove up. It looked nice against the foliage and very peaceful. The staff who greeted us was very friendly and nice. They showed us around the facility with enthusiasm, despite the fact that we did not have an appointment. The communal areas were all cozy and warm, as was the library and activity rooms. There was a variety of activities going on -- cards, games, socializing and much laughter. This put us at ease -- as we have been nervous about choosing a place for our aunt. The lunch options looked and smelled really delicious, as did the rest of the menu. Every effort is made to feed the residents in a healthful way - and they may order whatever they like -- which can be adapted to whatever their diet requires. The snacks looked good as well and are offered continuously. The furnishings throughout the facility were nicely appointed and easy to access. There is a library, several private seating area and a number of other patios and places to relax alone or with friends and family. The living spaces were all very beautiful -- and residents may bring their own furnishings if they like. They also help with decorating as needed if required. Everyone we met seemed well cared for and staff seems to genuinely enjoy their work at this facility. "

"GoodLife Senior Living and Memory Care is a very nice place. The cost is nice. It's not that expensive. I liked it, but they don't have a vacancy at this moment either. They have nicer rooms than the other facility. They have a garden or a little patio where they could go outside and walk. The facility was very clean as well. They showed me the kitchen, and it smelled good. The lady who walked us through and showed us everything was very nice. And then there was another lady who was taking care of some elderly patients that were there. She waved and smiled. You could see that she was taking care of and watching the patients there. It seemed like they were taking care of the people for whom they were responsible."

"My Father had been a resident at this facility for over two years. I am blessed we found this place, my Father loves it and they did a wonderful job on keeping the residents safe on this pandemic. They might have been the safest in El Paso. I would recommend this place 100 percent."

"I like the activities that The Legacy at Cimarron has going on all the time, and that was, to me, a high point. I didn't want my wife to turn into just someone sitting in a room. They had nice rooms, too, and they have a couple of options for the rooms. They're large enough so you would feel comfortable. I didn't want to feel like I was living in a hotel room. I did not eat, although I was there at lunchtime, and the dining area was fairly full. Everybody I met was polite and sociable. I also met a team of ladies that were preparing medicines for the people, and they were very open about what they were doing and how they managed that. And that was another comfort zone for my wife and probably myself that someone would watch that and ensure that we were doing the right things. The outside was immaculate. They had a walking path. It was very clean and well-maintained, which is a big thing for me. Here in El Paso, we have nasty winds that blow trash all over the place, but there was none there, so it was obvious that they do daily clean cleanups."

"My father is in here. We are loving the facility. The staff is amazing, and the food and their activities are well thought out. They're constantly doing something with them. They play little games, bingo, and crafts. The staff is very attentive and caring. It's beautiful, and it's affordable."

"Harmony Sun City Care would have been able to meet my husband's needs. They also had hospital type of beds and hoyer lifts. The price was good as well. The only thing that would be a negative on that was its sheer distance from my house, but they had a lot of pluses. I only pretty much interacted with a young man who is managing the place. I didn't really get to talk too much with the CNAs and the others, but the staff seemed both knowledgeable and willing to go a little extra to help out every person that was staying there. It looked like it could do what my husband would need, and they had a couple of pluses that a lot of other places didn't have. They could bring horses by to stimulate and entertain the residents. I don't think my husband could ride, but they had an outside thing, and a little barbecue, and having them involved would be kind of nice. They had an indoor pool, but again, I don't think my husband would have been able to use it because he was wearing an adult diaper, and I think that excludes you from using a pool. It's still nice if he could get it. It's a good form of exercise that could help increase circulation, and make the joints move a little better."
