"SunRidge at Cambria is nice and clean, and people seemed to be well attended. My grandmother is getting 3 meals a day and medications there. It's perfect, it's a beautiful place, and she has all the basic things to use. My dad and I are happy with it. There are several hospitals in the area, wound care centers, and several Walgreens. "

"It had great amenities. It was nice. The facility was spotless and beautiful. It was just gorgeous. The staff was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and willing to help. I was very pleased with them. They have common areas for people to kind of hang out with their family members and even activities and stuff like that. They do rehab there as well so they have a place where they could do physical therapy with them. The building itself was just new, clean, and beautiful."

"driving my grandma here was a hassle, i didnt know how far it was, and she most defenitly wanted to go to this one, even though there were some closer to us. the second we arrived here, after a 30 min drive, the air conditioner never felt so good. the staff was also very polite. we recieved a tour of the facilities, and they tried to make me feel more confortable about having my grandma stay there. We where there for a long time, and after we grew hungry and insisted we had to leave, they walked us to the dinning room and offered us to stay for diner with them. Well, by the end of the day, my grandma didn't want to come home with me. I fell in love with the staff, and I felt it was a very caring place. They also had student cna and even they felt very profecional. Bottom line is, I was very pleased and satisfied by this facility, and my grandma was also. Tough it was nearly 30 min away from my house, I felt like it was a safe and secure place, and very beautiful to say the least. "

"I have taken a home at The Forest Assisted Living. I love the people. The people are great, and the care is good. It's not a beautiful, fancy place, but it's clean and nice. The food is excellent. The staff is very good and very professional."

"My mother-in-law is in Voiland Adult Foster Care. It is a very small facility of 6 people. It's a home and it's personal. The caregivers are very good. They can come and go anytime between 10 am and 7 pm. They have doctors that come in. My mother-in-law is happy there, and she likes her meals. The facility is extremely clean and it has lots of space. It is very aesthetically pleasing. Right now, it's decorated for the holidays. They have a living room where they can go and socialize. Most of the residents are for memory care. I see them mostly visiting with each other. Two of the residents were able to bring their small pets with them."

"We liked the outer exterior of the Sunshine Home assisted living facility as we drove up. It looked nice against the foliage and very peaceful. The staff who greeted us was very friendly and nice. They showed us around the facility with enthusiasm, despite the fact that we did not have an appointment. The communal areas were all cozy and warm, as was the library and activity rooms. There was a variety of activities going on -- cards, games, socializing and much laughter. This put us at ease -- as we have been nervous about choosing a place for our aunt. The lunch options looked and smelled really delicious, as did the rest of the menu. Every effort is made to feed the residents in a healthful way - and they may order whatever they like -- which can be adapted to whatever their diet requires. The snacks looked good as well and are offered continuously. The furnishings throughout the facility were nicely appointed and easy to access. There is a library, several private seating area and a number of other patios and places to relax alone or with friends and family. The living spaces were all very beautiful -- and residents may bring their own furnishings if they like. They also help with decorating as needed if required. Everyone we met seemed well cared for and staff seems to genuinely enjoy their work at this facility. "

"My aunt is in Good Life Assisted Living and Memory Care El Paso. Everything is great and everybody is nice. The manager got her all set up, and they work with the nurse. They are accommodating, and she seems pretty happy there. When I came back, they were helping out and making sure that she was settled and in bed OK. She has a room with a bathroom and it is double occupancy, but right now she's the only one. One of the churches comes and sings on Fridays. They have puzzles, a game room, outings, and people come in to do arts and crafts. I had carrot salad when I was there and fruit for dessert, which I thought was healthy. It's a big facility with a big common area, and you can see all the rooms from that area. It's a nice setup, so people don't get lost in the halls. My aunt had a limited income, and they were able to bring down the price."

"I toured White Acres. Everyone seemed happy there and seemed to like the accommodations that they had. The people that I spoke to seemed pretty nice. They have a lot of activities for the residents. The room was satisfactory. It was a little small to my liking, but not too bad. It seemed taken care of fairly decent. The staff was helpful and nice. I purchased some cookies that one of the residents was selling. I didn't look too much outside, it was more of the stuff on the inside, the accommodations, like the rec room, their game room, the TV room, and arts and crafts."

"The North Hills Assisted Living Facility happened to be in the same area we were looking at in El Paso for our aunt, so we decided to stop in. They were really accommodating, despite our not having an appointment. They are very organized here -- and issue a regular newsletter to keep everyone up to date. We really appreciated that. It gave us a sense of how the facility is run. They announce events and resident activities such as luncheons. All of the activity rooms were nicely decorated, clean and bright. We could see that the residents here have a great time. They also regularly enjoy a variety of stimulating events outside of the facility weekly. The dining room options were really nice as well -- plenty of healthy foods offered and made to order as they like. The menus featured many alternatives and everything could be adapted to dietary needs. They serve many snacks throughout the day and evening. The furnishings throughout were cozy, bright and comfortable. There were lots of areas to rest and relax individually and with friends and family. The individual rooms were nicely decorated with plenty of space. Each was equipped with a large bathroom and good storage. The bathrooms were very spacious with safety bars for easy access. There was lots of light in all of the rooms we saw, as well -- with nice courtyard views. A very nice facility for seniors to live. "
