Glenda Care on Glenda Way is in a great location. It has a very clean and warm atmosphere. Scott and Mimi were so helpful to our family member and our family during his time there. The staff were so caring, gentle, and encouraging from the moment we stepped in the door. Our family member was comfortable and happy there. As a retired nurse, I was pleased with the facility, staff, and response to any issues and concerns for my family member. I recommend this facility.

Glenda Care was very clean and well-staffed. They had a dedicated medtech, dedicated cook, and dedicated activities coordinator, and had a higher staff per resident ratio. The food was tasty without being too spicy. They kept the food bland, which was better for my grandmother. I did not see the activities, but I met the activity coordinator and my grandmother said they do things with her. Even though they were a little bit more expensive, they offered more so that made it worth it.

My husband was at Reed's Manor for a short time. They've only owned the place since the end of December, and now, they're in the process of remodeling and fixing things up. What they did upstairs was very nice. The staff was wonderful. They were excellent. My husband was very difficult because he was at the last stages of his life, so they were having to do extra. They took very good care of him. His room wasn't fancy, but it was clean. It was just a room, which was all we needed at that point.
