Assisted Living Communities in Fallon, NV

"Highland Village of Fallon was a very nice community. It was small enough to get around. The staff was friendly. Some of them were nice. The rooms were good. They have various levels of care. As your health fails, you move around so you stay in the same environment. One thing that turned me off was that they weren't doing that many activities. I saw them playing Bingo, and there was a group in the exercise room, but those were all I saw."

"My mother is in the assisted living level of Fernley Estates. It goes from assisted living to memory care. It's a very nice place, it's brand new and clean, and the way it's designed makes it easy for the residents to get around. It took a while for them to get on the same page with how much care my mother needed, but after a few weeks they finally got it all worked out, and everybody's doing well. The atmosphere is very upbeat, they play games and get the seniors involved with exercises, or they take them on a bus into town. Where my mom in is a 1-bedroom that has a bedroom, a little kitchenette, a living room, and a bathroom. They also have 2-bedrooms and studios where everything is all in one room. She loves the food, they are balanced senior meals with low salt and low sugar, but the food seems to have good flavor and good choices despite that. The location is good, and it's 30 minutes away from town."

"I looked at Bee Hive. They were very clean. It didn't smell. The staff was very gracious and showed me around. They showed me different types of room. They had a community bathroom. The dining room had a home-type setting. They had a big TV rooms with recliners and comfortable sofas. They had activities. I was very impressed. They had some light and chair exercises, bingo, cards, and a variety of things. It was a very nice facility, and if I wanted to place my mom, I would want her to be there because I wanted her close to me. I would definitely recommend them. "
