"My wife was in the assisted living care at Fernley Estates. I just moved her down to another facility in Reno because it was getting kind of hard for me to drive up there, but I couldn't recommend a higher recommendation on them. It was wonderful. She loved it, I loved it. If it wasn't for the fact of getting aides and difficulty on that road, I wouldn't have changed her. It was friendly, they were good, and they were interested in the people. She was there for about six months. It was a nice atmosphere and it was a well-run facility. My wife was very happy there, and I was too, but it would get to the point where I couldn't make it up there all the time. My wife's room was a nice size. It had an individual bathroom, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a good sink. It was a nice room. There was a lot of activities. There's bingo, various exercises, walking classes, and various things that they did. They're very nice people. They take care of the people. They're not harsh or anything, and they're really concerned. The help that they hire were topnotch. They also have bus trips and they took you to appointments if you needed or to shopping. They were first class all the way around. They had an excellent maintenance man. The place was kept very clean, and they were taking care of the people. It's a good value for the money. One other thing that they have is they also brought performers in for music."

"I looked at Bee Hive. They were very clean. It didn't smell. The staff was very gracious and showed me around. They showed me different types of room. They had a community bathroom. The dining room had a home-type setting. They had a big TV rooms with recliners and comfortable sofas. They had activities. I was very impressed. They had some light and chair exercises, bingo, cards, and a variety of things. It was a very nice facility, and if I wanted to place my mom, I would want her to be there because I wanted her close to me. I would definitely recommend them. "

"St Benedict Residential Care Home is a private home that has just opened up. My father-in-law has done very well there. Everything has been exceptional. The food is very good. The staff members are very good and very caring. It is just a home where they have bedrooms and a living area. It is a very caring environment."

"I can give a 100% rating for MorningStar Senior Living of Sparks because I put my ex-mother-in-law there. I moved her there in their assisted living in July of 2020. It's always clean and anything you need, they fix as soon as they can. I know my mother-in-law had a broken cabinet in her apartment and they were there within 3 hours to fix it. The upkeep is very nice and they just remodeled it, I think, 5 months ago. It's very nice and the staff was accommodating. The people up front, where you sign in, are very helpful. I did a tour just by myself, and then my mom wanted to go so I called them and they said yes. We went down there on that same day. Of course, my uncles wanted to do a tour too, so I called them and they said yes. Each time, they took us and gave us a full tour, let us into the apartment where we're going to be, and every time I've called, they've facilitated everything I've needed. They've helped with the doctor stuff. The rooms are a little different. They're individual apartments. I think my mom is going to be in the smallest apartment. It's like 484 square feet. It has a little kitchenette, a little living room, a bedroom, and a very large bathroom. The dining area is nice and large. The building is 3 or 4 stories because it's assisted and then something else. Their dining rooms are nice, they're big, and they have staff that comes up and takes your orders and then brings them to you. They have a game room, an art room, a community room so if you want to have a birthday party or something, you could do it in their community room. They have a cinema, a coffee bar and I know there is more. They have elevators for people who can't go up the stairs. This is a nice community."

"My wife is in Highland Village. She is not happy with the food, but she’s fortunate because one of the nurses there is actually one of her friends, so she takes really special care of her. She is basically happy with everybody there. The room that she is in is as nice as you expect. She is fairly comfortable there. "
