"I moved into Cascades of the Sierra. It's got a nice atmosphere and nice people. My apartment is small but comfortable. The food has been very good. They have a workout gym, a beauty shop for hair and nails, an art studio, 3 libraries, some common rooms, and a real bar."

We are located on a 1/3 acre lot with a large backyard with a park-like setting and a walking path. We have a team of fun and caring resident assistants to care for our community residents. "If we were going to find a place for my mom, then Clearwater at Rancharrah would be our choice in terms of memory care. It was a very clean and welcoming environment with access to a nice outdoor area. The clients seemed happy. The staff were friendly to their clients from what we could see. The rooms were clean, newly built, really nice, and well-maintained. The dining area seemed easily accessible, clean and a welcoming environment. Some clients were watching TV and playing some games."

"My mother-in-law has moved into The Seasons of Reno. The staff is very kind and responsive. The room seemed very clean and well laid out. I couldn't go in because of COVID; I've only seen pictures. The staff was very helpful and patient. They did a little virtual tour with an iPad. They have an activities room that's a multi use room for exercising, crafts and bingo, and they have a community dining room that they're not using right now. They have a little kitchen that can be shared with a big table if you want to have a family meal. I haven't really seen it, but the outside is beautiful. They have a beautiful courtyard that's all well landscaped and well cared for."

"My dad moved in 2 weeks ago. The place is very nice and the people are friendly. The staff is very helpful and concerned about his well-being, and they helped me move him in. My dad's room looks nice with a nice view out the window. Their dining area looks nice, and it looks like the residents are being served their food adequately. I like the surroundings of this facility. It is located in a residential neighborhood with a lot of trees along the street."

"I like Stone Valley Memory Care. I like how it's all for the same type of people. There are other group homes that I've gone to that I feel as though, when it comes to the memory part, they kind of get pushed to the back side away from everybody. So I liked Stone Valley when I was there yesterday. I like the room. They're just regular rooms. They're equivalent to the other ones that I've seen in even more expensive places. I like what I saw yesterday and I'm considering moving forward with them. I just want to make sure that there's nothing else out there that I need to look at first. The staff who gave the tour was great. She's very helpful. With regards to the food, they offer three meals a day. I saw the menu and it looked good. They also give them two snacks a day. Residents were walking around with snacks yesterday. I was there at 2:00, so it was snack time and they had like homemade muffins. They make sure and keep their people well-hydrated. I was impressed. It's the best one that I've seen yet."

"I have chosen Fernley Estates for my mom. I actually loved it. It was clean and very well attended. There were no obstacles in the hallways. There was plenty of room for people with walkers or wheelchairs. The staff was on top of their job, and there were a lot of them. The director was actually the one that took me on the tour and he knew everyone by name. He kept apologizing to me because he had to stop and talk to the residents. If my mom's going to be here, I would love that he took the time out to talk to her. He stopped and addressed everyone that wanted to talk to him, and I thought it was fantastic. They had beautiful gardens. When I was there, they had children that came in from Sparks and did a little entertainment for them. They had a shuffleboard, a pool table, and a movie room. They had a beautiful dining room with attendants that helped with everything."

"We went to look at The Lodge Assisted Living and Memory Care. They were very nice. It was very clean and friendly. The staff was very helpful. The facility seemed fairly new. The grounds were well cared for. They had landscaping all the way around the building. It looked good."

"My dad moved into here. They've been great, the staff is communicative, they addressed all of our needs, and they take good care of my dad. Even though they've had some coronavirus cases there, they're able to keep everybody safe and healthy. We visited my dad, not in-person, but through the window because of the virus. The facility is really nice. It's hard to say anything about the activities because I don't really see him, but they had my dad singing karaoke within an hour, so I would say it's probably good."
