"Stopped in on a whim and was pleasantly surprised because it doesn’t look like an assisted living place. People were happy and friendly. Easy to find and parking is all around the building which is all at ground floor level. Rooms are spacious with huge closets and bathrooms. We’ve been other places and we’ll come back again when we are ready. "

"Brookdale Reno was very nicely laid out. There were all kinds of little sitting areas. It was very bright with lots of windows. It was in the summer so we went outside and walked around the grounds and it was all enclosed and safe for the residents. The staff was very friendly. All my questions were answered and I got to meet people that were in charge of different areas. They had a variety of activities that they did for the residents. They would try to get them out in their van even just to drive around the city, but a lot of times they would have destinations that they would go to. Then during the summer, they would have a barbecue outside and some sort of entertainment that they always had, which I also thought was pretty good."

"My brother looked up Arbors Memory care on the internet. I was trying to figure out what to do for my mom. I went and looked at the place and I talked to them. After talking to them I found them very helpful. They were so caring and sweet. When I looked up the reviews on the internet, they have quality people there. When I viewed it was like being in a hotel and when my mom went inside she thought she's in a hotel. She loved it. She thought it was beautiful. I like the freedom there. They were able to go and do what they would like to do. They had freedom and I like that. It didn't feel like a confinement and there was no smell. My mom has a single room by herself and it's a large room. She's happier that way. She's always taken care of. I don't walk in there where I feel like they are not doing their job. I have eaten there and the food is great. I've never had problem with food. Sometimes I eat with her. Sometimes I'm there for a family night and the again the food is great and I can't complain with any of it. I love the staff in Arbors Memory Care. They're so caring and so sweet. I never walked one time where I heard an angry word come out of them. They treat their residents so much like family. They treat them so good and they're so sweet to them. They would stop anything they're doing to take care of a situation. They're wonderful! "

"My father is a senior and has friends at MorningStar, so we go out there regularly to visit with him. I think they're very organized, have a great staff, have very food, and have lots and lots of activities for every level of senior. They're big on baseball and have little tournaments with the other places around town. They also have lots of card games, bingo, music come in occasionally, which is very nice, and cooking demonstrations, so they have a lot going on. They have their buses to take seniors on shopping trips and outside activities and scheduled trips to their medical appointments, so it’s very convenient for them. The rooms are very nice and clean. They have several levels for seniors: independent living, assisted living with a minimal amount of care, and advanced care. We have one friend that needs a lot of assistance, so it's very good for them. He's wheelchair-bound, and they have the staff to help him in and out, with bathing, and all that kind of stuff. I think it's a very clean and friendly place. They have a good staff that is readily available. "
