I loved this facility my grandmother was on the rehab division and she was Nursed back to good health....she since has passed but while at Manorcare she was provided excellent nursing care

When you walk in the door at ManorCare, you get a sense of how much the people really care about the patients there. However, that sense is short lived once you have visited during various times of the day. My grandfather arrived there with sores on his feet; you would think that a nursing home would in fact nurse him back to health. Well, when he was discharged from ManorCare the sores on his feet had grown in size and there were more sores appearing. I had to ask one of the aides there to have a nurse practitioner look at his foot, only then did they decide he no longer needed to be discharged. In addition, on one of my visits I noticed a very foul smell of urine in all of the hallways, if patients were being changed regularly, the hallways would not smell. I would not recommend that anyone be subject to the kind of treatment my family and I were given.
