The staff at RidgePointe of Minnetonka was very friendly and we liked the fact that they had 24/7 personnel at the desk all the time. We will be choosing that place above other places because they have food available. They have a continental breakfast, they have lunch available, and then dinner Monday through Thursday. A lot of the other places didn't have that much food available and I was just looking for the food availability primarily and we decided that that was more important than some of the other things that we were looking for, like a balcony and so forth. The apartments looked spacious enough. The bathroom had a cutout tub so they could just walk into the bathtub and take a shower. There was an in-apartment storage area so that we could store things there in the apartment. It's a one-bedroom. They have a lot of things like exercise classes, lectures, and things that I'd be interested in. I know they have card games going on. I don't know if I am doing that. They have a library that has newspapers and books and so forth. There's an atrium that is nice for the winter to go down and sit where there's a lot of plants and palm trees and stuff like that. They have 24- hour coffee and tea, hot chocolate, and lemonade available. They come and clean your apartment once a week. They clean your kitchen and bathroom and vacuum.

We're leaning towards RidgePointe of Minnetonka. It was wonderful, they spent over two hours with us, and we were extremely pleased with Paula, who helped us, showed us all the different apartments and the configuration, and then told us all of the wonderful prices that the place had. We saw a two bedroom, two bath, then we saw a one bedroom and a den, and then just a plain one bedroom with one bath. They have three dinners per year that are given to you. You have continental breakfast every day. They have excursions, they have lectures, and in the springtime they have gardening if you wish to do gardening because you can have a raised plot and raise flowers or raise tomatoes, whatever you choose. But you still have a chance to do something outdoors. They have a game room and exercise rooms, and they have a heated garage. And we found it extremely welcoming and it had everything that we could ask for.

My father-in-law will be moving into Ridgepointe Senior Living. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were great, and spacious, and had great views, good windows, and great floor plans. There were multiple dining areas and they were all great. There was an atrium in the center that connected the buildings, and that was unique and lovely. The formal dining area looked a little bit older but very comfy. The grounds were beautiful with mature trees. I saw some residents playing cards, and there were multiple areas to do different activities.

We moved here in December and are thrilled with our decision. We were welcomed warmly by the other residents and made to feel at home right away. The building is solid, safe, quiet, and very well maintained. The grounds are just beautiful and kept up daily. A smile will get you in anywhere here. An in-house TV station keeps you updated on what's going on daily. I love that they have a well-stocked (by the residents) art & crafts room, a woodworking shop (with a resident who has helped a lot by making and fixing some of my furniture), a knitting room where they make lovely items to donate to charity. A beauty shop, wonderful exercise classes for women and men, and even a little store run by our volunteers opened 3 mornings a week. Games, games, and more games going on all the time. A bus for those who don't choose to drive. And wonderful programming with activities on campus and off regularly. I love having dinner delivered to our apartment at a reasonable price so I don't have to cook every day. Love eating lunch in the beautiful atrium. I'd be more than happy to take you on a tour before you meet our outstanding rental agent if you would like. I love showing our home off to everyone. I went to RidgePointe Senior Living. The person who gave me the tour was very good, the food was very good, and the apartments were good sized with lots of closet space. She showed me all their amenities, and they were very good.

RidgePointe Senior Living looks good, and we are happy with it. We chose it because of proximity and also because of the price arrangement that we had with them. They had a good woodwork shop. Everything that we needed was in the apartment that we are getting, with two bedrooms, a washer/dryer, and it appeared to be well maintained. They had dozens of different activities going on all the time like games, reading groups, study groups, and learning activities. The tour was done very professionally and personally, and I didn't have any complaints. She went out of her way to meet all of our questions and concerns.
